Top Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett appeared on NBCs Meet the Press and host David Gregory tried his best to get Jarrett to comment on potential Republican opponent in 2012 Sarah Palin. However, Jarrett stayed on message, which she suggested was the same advice she gives the President: stay focused on helping the American people.
Jarrett claimed that Obama does not think about Palin or campaigning because instead, she stated:
As president, his job is really to focus first on that. And if he does that job well, if he looks out for America, if its clear that hes doing everything he can to make sure that hardworking Americans whove lost their jobs can go back to work, and if he keeps America safe and he demonstrates that 24/7 thats his priority, then I think the politics will take care of itself.
Suggesting the campaign in 2012 will be different than the last time where he was just a Senator who had to worry about every move of all his potential opponents, Jarrett clearly believes incumbency gives Obama the luxury of not being concerned with such details this time around. Jarrett concluded regarding Palin, I think he shouldnt be distracted by what . . . are perceived as threats.
However, Obama and his advisors better be careful, because the last presidential candidate to underestimate the seriousness of a rookie opponent was one Hillary Clinton and we all know how that turned out.

Obviously Sarah lives in their heads 24/7. Go Barracuda!!
good idea, and that torch is HOT. you see ‘em all startin’ to sweat because of the heat. the hildebeaste is about to start stickin’ hot pokers up his posterior, too.
And her resume is as thin as Obamas. Skin color, 330k a year to sit on affirmative action seats on various boards, no work history at all.
Where the hell did we wind up with this unqualified bunch running the nation? And they are all Chicago, reflecting Obamas lack of accomplishments, friends, and anything resembling an American life.
Good Idea - especially after the citizenry of Hawaii elected another Marxist to replace the previous Gov/RINO. This guy says his top priority is to take of the “Birthers.” He can do it in one step: release the Long-Form BC
if you want to start an argument with me, you’re gonna have to change the subject. they always show us who they fear. it’s like an reflex which reverberates all over the body democrat.
No way does Barry Soetoro intend to have a second term. All damage must be done before he leaves office. He knows that someone somewhere will expose the truth about his eligibility issue - if I am not right on that one, I will be the first to line up at the internment camp to save Barry’s monkeys from having to deal with me.
I read it too and at the time said it was not work I would have accepted from my home schooled son when he was in high school.
It screamed affirmative action not academic qualification.
Keep attacking and mocking her idiots. What you fail to understand is by doing so, you’re also attacking and mocking the values of a significant percentage of the population.
Are you drunk?
“youre also attacking and mocking the values of a significant percentage of the population.”
Yeah,,,the black liberation, socialist, and America hating percentage. lol
Wait,, i think im being dense. You were not worried about all of us mocking Valerie Jerrett. You were referring to the media mocking Sarah. My bad.
Perhaps they can sick their friends in the establishmedia on her?
Pray for the New Congress
If nominated which of the following states will Palin lose:
1. Alabama
2. Alaska
3. Arkansas
4. Arizona
5. Colorado
6. Florida
7. Georgia
8. Indiana
9. Idaho
10. Kansas
11. Kentucky
12. Louisiana
13. Mississippi
14. Missouri
15. Montana
16. Nebraska
17. Nevada
18. North Carolina
19. North Dakota
20. Ohio
21. Oklahoma
22. South Carolina
23. South Dakota
24. Tennessee
25. Texas
26. Utah
27. Virginia
28. West Virginia
29. Wyoming
If Palin is nominated and wins all of these states that G. W. Bush won twice, she is president. Since these states have 281 electoral votes in 2012, if she wins Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas, she can lose any single state among the other 24 above and still she is president.
So anyone from or with insight into any of these states want to report in that Palin is unlikely to win them against Obama? Or does anyone want to assert that she will have a hard time winning any particular state among these states?
How can he not be distracted. She’s living in his head 24/7, rent free.
The risk I see is when Soros gets his 3rd party “No Labels” candidate in there to split the anti-Baraq vote.
Then the results become unpredictable.
I agree no way Baraq wins a 2-way race.
I believe you have a good point there. But the “no labels” group is going to nominate Bloomberg and I don’t see him having much of an impact in any of the states I listed.
Bloomberg might attract the votes of some true believers on the left that think Obama has sold them out.
" Hey, Valerie, what should I do next? Say what? Keep the teabaggers
off-balance? Hit 'em from behind with something new? Hell, I did that already."
