Obama's Birth Announcements Aren't Evidence Of Anything
The Obama File ^ | 1/4/2011 | Beckwith

Obots are always pointing to the two "birth announcements" from Honolulu newspapers (images here) as evidence of Obama's Hawaiian birth.

As anyone who has ever had a birth, wedding, or death in the family, knows, the information in those announcements are sent to newspapers by the family, or agents of the family.  They do not originate from government agencies, hospitals, churches or synagogues, although they may originate with political campaigns.

Beyond questions about the source of the Obama birth announcements being his family, probably grandmother Madelyn, there is a question about the law to consider.  Could those microfilm/fiche copies (nobody has ever seen the original newsprint copies) from 50-year old newspapers be allowed as evidence in a court of law?

So, as a civilian, I asked an attorney (actually two), if one must posses and present the original newsprint copy of those "birth announcements" for them to be admitted into evidence.

This attorney, practicing in a mid-western state, and in the federal courts, pointed to the Federal Rules of Evidence 1002 -- Requirement of Original:

"To prove the content of a writing, recording, or photograph, the original writing, recording, or photograph is required, except as otherwise provided in these rules or by Act of Congress."

In simple terms, one must posses and present the original newsprint copy of those "birth announcements" for them to be admitted into evidence.  Conclusion -- those microfilm/fiche copies would not be admissible in a court of law.

This rule would also apply to Obama's Certification of Live Birth (COLB).  Under 1002, Obama's original long-form birth certificate would be required as evidence to prove his birth.

In the opinion of this attorney, the courts don't want to be put in the position of demanding Obama's long-form birth certificate, and are putting up smoke and mirrors because they know it would prove him ineligible.  This attorney says:

"If I was a judge, I would not rule on anything in this matter, because I could be held as a co-conspirator when the truth comes out. This is worse than Chester Arthur's cover-up and is more documented."

There's the answer to why 80+ cases have been dismissed without hearing any testimony, or examining any evidence, and why Justice Thomas said, "We're evading that one," when questioned about the presidential eligibility issue in a formal Congressional session

There's always a simple answer -- even to the most complex question.

Thanks for checking that out, ml/nj. I’ve done a lot of research on this. I’m waiting on a piece of information that I’ve been trying to get for over a year. Major obfuscation on a record the government is definitely treating differently. Once I’ve got that information I can post a major post on my blog that will connect all the information.

Hello.
If you have any questions on the newspaper birth announcements, feel free to ask me.
The work on myveryownpointofview is my own, and I would be happy to help you understand, and or work through, the information that I have collected and published. I have shared copies of my work with other bloggers, but the body of the work is my own. LOL, I am the most familiar with it is what I am trying to say.

You have done wonderful, commendable work on this.

Somewhere there is at least one copy of one of the original newspapers with the original birth announcements listed in it. Not the altered version of the birth announcements, but the real one.

There are American towns with newsstands that have sold papers from all over the country and all over the world. Some people have bought and kept these newspapers for sentimental or archival reasons. I am confident that someone has the real thing stored away in some attic or garage.

Again, thank you very much for your research.

Thank you.
As to whether or not we will find an archived paper somewhere, there may be such a thing, but I am sure it would have been exposed by now. Maybe it’s being created along with obama’s long form BC.
I don’t recall that there were any big news items in those dates, but I skimmed very quickly to get to the section I would copy. If there had been something big on those dates, it would be far more likely that you’d be able to turn up a physical copy. As to what women saved in the baby books - it would have just been the little announcement, so, no date or page header or anything like that.
AS TO HOW THE ANNOUNCEMENTS GOT TO THE NEWSPAPERS :

Yes, I am convinced that most of them were sent by the DOH. On leaving the hospital, while signing the release forms for self and infants, the parents are given an option to have the announcements printed in the newspaper. It may have just been a little box they check, or they had to sign a separate simple form. So, when the natal info went to the DOH from the hospital, the DOH made a list of the persons that had requested the announcements. That list went to the papers. That is how it was with my children. I am also convinced that a parent/grandparent could cause an announcement to be placed, which is simple and easy to do. A child born at home could have an announcement - when the paperwork was filed, they were likely given the option. I was an at home birth, and my birth was announced in the local paper. 1962.
So, to my mind, this is only an issue because Lori Starfelt, the woman who obtained the very first copy of the obama newspaper announ., stated as fact something that turned out to be completely untrue. In part. That’s how all of this has gone, and why people get too caught up on these less important facts. We get information that is only partly true, and I do believe that is by design.

What people are not focused on enough is the natural born citizen requirement.

I did this newspaper research because no one else had. :). And I got so sick of people saying that they had “thoroughly looked into the matter of the birth announcements” by glancing at the first two images posted on the internet.

But here, look at this linked post for a different take on the obama birth announcements - why they can’t be used as “proof” of anything.
