2012 Presidential Primary Poll [FREEP THIS POLL PLEASE}
The Liberty Blog ^ | 1/18/2011

Posted on 01/21/2011 8:52:58 PM PST by Right Wingnut 2

As f the time of this post, our online poll has 3,300 or so votes and Sarah Palin is well ahead pulling in 26% with Mike Huckabee in a distant second.

A couple notes before we get to the poll…

1) Ron Paul is NOT listed directly in this particular poll. Now before our Paul fans start suggesting I’m against Ron Paul, please know that I’ve been accused of taking the OPPOSITE position in being a Paulite myself.

I like to think I’m somewhere in the middle.

Anyway, the reason is that in 2007-08 Ron Paul overwhelmingly on every single online poll we posted, then came last in the primary election.

The hope with this first online poll is that we could somewhat get an idea of where our direct membership stands. Ron Paul fans (using blogs, forums and lists) slamming our polls does no good in helping us gain an understanding of this.

2) Yes, there are other individuals such as Allen West and Marco Rubio who might make good candidates, but they haven’t expressed public interest in running for President.

We’re currently listing those who HAVE, in a public way, shown interest in running.

3) Polldaddy chose the order in which the choices are displayed, not us.

4) We’ll have other polls posted in the coming weeks that are less about the establishment and more about the “insurgent” candidates.

All that said… here’s the poll!

Less than 2 years to go before one of these fine candidates takes back the White House from the lying, socialist, telepromter in chief.

I like Herman Caine going against Obama in 2012.
Caine has real business experience and the liberals can’t
pull the race cad on him.

I have seen him on 2 different shows and this guy is no dummy.

He’s a good strong conservative, but couldn’t even win a senate primary in his own state.

There is more to winning than ideology...sometimes that’s not fair, but Cain’s first elected office will not be President of the United States.

You pick a candidate because of fear of what the media will do? I'd say they 'gotcha'.

Much as I support Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann may have a better chance of winning the Independent vote in a general election.

And, she is a candidate that Conservatives can feel good about voting for.

The GOP nominee will be sliced and diced, 24/7, by the LSM no matter who that nominee is. Cain is a smart individual but he has NEVER held any elective office. I would say the chances of starting out at the top are 0%. He would be in line for an important position in the Palin administration, however.

Well duh..... Isn’t that the way supporters from any candidate do to support their candidate.

Our experience with presidents who held former elected office has not been all that great has it?

After Obama slices and dices the economy to shreds by expanding the overhead of government employees feeding off the private sector, people will be ready for a real world person who has actually signed in front of paychecks.
