Last week a radio host was interviewing a Muslim convert to Christianity who had recently written a book chronicling his conversion and the extreme measures he now must undergo to protect himself and his family from this “religion of peace.” What was noteworthy was the profound sentiment he expressed – America must use its military to go to every Muslim nation in the world and convert them to Christianity; it is the only way to end the Muslim jihad against the West, against Christianity and against civilization.
Why don’t our politicians speak with such clarity and moral authority? …

Indeed. Contrary to popular belief, Christianity has almost never come to a people at sword point. Leave forced conversion to Islam. That’s not how the Church does business.
My freshman high school journalism teacher would have given me a D on this assignment, after he sarcastically read it aloud to the class.

It wasn't his material- it linked from his site to World Net Daily.
That said- it's still absurd. That's not what the military is for, and it isn't what Christianity is about. It's also not what is happening.
Islam is spreading itself by the sword however- just ask the Copts in Egypt, or the Fogels in Israel, or the northern Israeli towns that ate fifty mortar rounds/rockets the other day.
We're not going to descend to their level.
I think that the late poster's point in submitting this was to make us look shallow and flighty.

There are people out there now that do nothing

Christians do not “convert” anyone, ever.
We are just the messengers or the good news of salvation through the Christ Jesus.
The conversion (of the heart) is the work of the Holy Spirit.
Never has been ... never will be our job to convert.
I think it was Ann Coulter who said regarding Arabs, “kill their leaders and convert the people to Christianity”.
