That city is diseased with liberalism. It is rapidly becoming a northern annex of San Fransickness.
When I was stationed at FT Lewis, my wife and I used to go to Seattle on the weekends. Even in the 1980’s that place was a freak show. And it has gone steadily downhill from there.
Seattle has one of the highest incidences of depression and suicide rates of any major city in the country. I used to think it had a lot to do with the rain and ever present overcast. The old saying was that people in Seattle didn’t tan, they rusted. Now I am beginning to think the weather was only a minor contributor and it was the self loathing aspect of that mental illness liberalism that is the major contributor.

Well, I think of it like this. Let’em call them what they want, they think they are making a point but, they really aren’t. There stupid eggs not the real reason why we celebrate Easter anyway. And the Easter eggs are actually pagan and have nothing to do with Christianity. So I say, let them knock themselves out. And while there at it, they can change Santa’s name too and take down all Christmas trees. It doesn’t change who God is or why Jesus died.

If you’re not Christian then don’t feel like you have to celebrate our holidays any more than you feel like you have to celebrate Ramadan. Cinqo de Mayo, however, is for everybody (it’s really not so much a holiday as it is an excuse to drink).
