Rasmussen Poll Experiment Yields Surprising Results
Elephant Watcher ^ | May 3, 2011

"In an earlier post, we examined why national primary polls are much less helpful than polls of individual states. A recent national primary poll done by Rasmussen illustrates another big problem with national primary polls: The decision of which candidates to include has a big influence on the results.

Most national primary polls have shown Huckabee, Romney, and Trump with good numbers; Palin and Gingrich follow. Rasmussen's experiment was to see what happened when all of these names except Romney were excluded, and some other candidates were included. Participants also had the option of choosing "some other candidate" or "not sure." These were the results...."

Just my personal opinion but I think if you want to run for President and you think you can make a meaningful contribution to the country then don’t even look at the polls, just run.

Honestly, I can think of very few people who I would not vote for over Obama.

By election day, we may be throwing darts at the phone book for a candidate. The Obama “bounce” will end the next time we fill the tank for $90 and unemployment goes back over 9% on Friday. There is not one republican, including Trump or Guliani, that I wouldn't vote for over Obama. America won't survive another 4 years of the commie in chief.

Herman Cain is one of the few Republicans that has been dropping strong hints if not actually announcing he will run. Yet the MSM and pollsters are ignoring him. Why isn’t he in a Rasmussen poll?
