Why Bush didn’t get Bin Laden
Flopping Aces ^ | 05-04-11 | DrJohn

All that stuff you hear from democrats, and Obama himself, about Bush failing to get Bin Laden and taking his eye off the ball is total crap. Obama and democrats fought tooth and nail to rip Bush's eyes off of Bin Laden. They did their damnedest to prevent Bush from getting Bin Laden.

George Bush was dealing with 3000 dead innocent Americans in the worst attack on US soil since Pearl Harbor. He needed intel to work from. He needed information. He needed help.

Democrats stood behind Bush. They kneed him. They tripped him up. They opposed every single thing he did to keep the nation safe and find Osama Bin Laden.

Warrantless Wiretapping

Bush Lets U.S. Spy on Callers Without Courts

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 - Months after the Sept. 11 attacks, President Bush secretly authorized the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on Americans and others inside the United States to search for evidence of terrorist activity without the court-approved warrants ordinarily required for domestic spying, according to government officials.

Under a presidential order signed in 2002, the intelligence agency has monitored the international telephone calls and international e-mail messages of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people inside the United States without warrants over the past three years in an effort to track possible "dirty numbers" linked to Al Qaeda, the officials said. The agency, they said, still seeks warrants to monitor entirely domestic communications.

Democrats call for investigation of NSA wiretaps

Democratic House leaders called Sunday for an independent panel to investigate the legality of a program President Bush authorized that allows warrantless wiretaps on U.S. citizens, according to a letter to House Speaker Dennis Hastert.

"We believe that the President must have the best possible intelligence to protect the American people, but that intelligence must be produced in a manner consistent with our Constitution and our laws, and in a manner that reflects our values as a nation," the letter says.

Rendition

Dems regroup on Iraq plans

The Responsible Plan draws heavily from the Baker-Hamilton Commission’s report and from 17 bills that have been introduced in Congress; it would set a date to begin withdrawal, though it would rely on military advice for the pace of that redeployment. The plan’s broad reach promotes clean energy, a restoration of habeas corpus, a ban on torture and rendition, opposition to media consolidation, State Department reorganization, veterans care and a new GI Bill.

I am sure there were those in the Intelligence Agencies that keep intell away from the Bush White House fearing that Bush would actually get Bin Laden from the individual officers up to the leadership.

No one to blame but Bush himself. He left nearly every single one of Anklepant’s appointments in place. And they all worked against him. Just WTH was he thinking?

Can you imagine the media’s response in the same situation?

They would have said he had invaded another country and murdered OBL in an illegal assasination without due process, that he was acting like judge jury and exectutioner, and demanded his impeachment

Bush, like most Republicans, does not realize that we are up against a revolutionary socialist movement which has a coherent strategy to destroy free republican constitutional government. He played the “reach across the aisle” game and trusted these criminals. Until we get a true opposition which is counter-revolutionary and as relentless as the enemy, we are all in danger.

Bush always played too nice. I would not be surprised if he had dismissed allegations that the Pakis were playing a double game by saying "I trust Musharraf. He's a good guy, just like my amigo Vicente Fox. I wouldn't want to offend him. we're all in this together, etc"

“Just WTH was he thinking?”

New tone in Washington. He also did nothing about the White House vandalism when he moved in, even allowing the Clintonistas editorial access to the final report.

In a neighborhood, it starts with small stuff like vandalism and tagging. If the neighborhood does not stop these little things, trouble comes soon. Bush set “a new tone” and suffered for it. Never negotiate with terrorists foreign or domestic.

“Bush, like most Republicans, does not realize that we are up against a revolutionary socialist movement”

Interesting point. I just read that our efforts in Afghanistan were off up until 2007, because the leadership was treating the problem as “criminal elements” rather than “coordinated insurgency”.

As for the revolution in the USA, one has merely to look at the coordination between the left and the media. The Pubbies put out press releases and give interviews, the Internal Insurgency conducts coordinated multimedia rollouts of their themes, which are amplified by every form of media in use today (From Ellen and The View down to small-station rock DJ’s).

The roadblocks by the communists party (formally the Democratic Party) would have impeached Bush. Remember that the last years of the Bush Presidency the House and Senate were under the communists party. Impeachment would have been a given. Bush was very limited and he did the best he could under those circumstances.

George Tenet was a RAT and steered Bush to Iraq. When Obama is in office he gets accurate information regarding Bin Laden and gets the kill.

With the Dems everything is about politics and maintaining power. The security and well being of the country be damned.

We are up against an evil force that knows no bounds. Any Democrat and i do mean any Democrat is not to be trusted, believed or dealt with in an upfront manner. It is best to avoid them. They are all communists and traitors all.

Remember Valerie Plame. There were clearly people in the CIA who wanted to destroy Bush at all costs.

There are two principle revolutionary movements active today: communism and Islam. Both practice propaganda, infiltration, control of the educational establishment. Meanwhile the supposed opposition consists largely of dopes like McCain, who publicly stated that “we have nothing to fear from Senator Obama,” Lindsay Graham, clueless country clubbers like Bush, Romney, and other appeasers. We are not going to win this war just by winning the next election and putting Republican bureaucrats in HHS, Dept. of Education, etc. We must take back the educational establishment. We must destroy their domination of the media. The war will take decades, even generations, because that’s how long it took the enemy to get where he is. We will never win unless we return to our Western cultural roots, starting with Christianity. Free trade will not save us. Low taxes will not save us. Not even the SEALs can save us if we don’t renew our culture.

Absolutely right. Bush was foolish to trust anyone connected with a Demonrat administration, but the Republicans continue to make the same mistakes over and over, because basically they are professional politicians and their only goal is winning the next election and putting their hacks into appointed positions. They lack any strategic goals or warrior spirit. The pro politicians, entrenched incumbents, and lawyers have to be rooted out and replaced with fighters who want to take our country back.
