Huckabee NOT Running for President
Pundit Press ^ | 5/14/11 | Aurelius

Posted on 05/14/2011 6:06:01 PM PDT by therightliveswithus

In an eight o'clock announcement on Fox News, Mike Huckabee announced that he will NOT be running for President in 2012.

Mr. Huckabee was one of the major contenders for the Republican nomination in 2008, garnering 282 delegates by the convention. The former governor of Arkansas, he now hosts a show on Fox News.

Huckabee discussed voters that will support him, how he believes that he will gain plenty of money fund-raising, and his prayer to Jesus Christ.

He also spoke of "clarity" and an "inner-peace." He stated: "I will not run for President."

Don’t forget: Huck has an ever-better paying gig at ABC/Citadel Radio. He’s been the designated successor to Paul Harvey for the past couple of years, and earns big bucks for his three-times-a-day newscast.

Heard recently that Huck is building a multi-million dollar mansion in Florida. Don’t think he ever made more than $75K a year, even as governor of Arkansas. Now, he can make $2-3 million a year from his media jobs for the next 4-5 years, then decide if he wants to get back into politics.

When I heard the former governor was building that house in Florida, I knew he would take a pass on 2012. Kinda hard to give up those radio and TV jobs (and the fat paychecks that come with thme) for an uphill battle for the GOP nomination, with no guarantee that Fox or Citadel would rehire him after a failed run.

Myth Romney is his own worst enemy. If RomneyCare, RomneyMarriage, flip-flopping on Right-to-Life and all that don’t stop him, we’re in worse shape than I thought!

Sarah.

You sure she's running? Looks like she still has the decision of her life to make: whether America’s future is worth the price her family and children are certainly going to have to pay for her to run.

Mitty is the one guy that will slam dunk guarantee a Tea Party challenger, and a Clintonian plurality win for Baraq.

Between Mitty's threat and Sarah's wavering, lights are flickering for America.

“Phew! I hope he urges his supporters to back Sarah Palin when she announces.”

Take the blinders off. Sarah isn’t going to run either. That’s why she is still on Fox, like Huckabee, whereas Santorum and Gingrich were let go. Because Fox already knows who is going to run and who isn’t. Saraah isn’t.

I’m sure he does—every minute he can.

He wears his faith ‘on his shoulder’ just a little too much for me
for a president.

Looks to me like they’re pushing Newt.

We’re doomed!

I want Trump to stay because he’s comfortable being the boss, believes in America, and is ruthless in business.

Herman Cain is someone I’m getting to know and like.

I’d throw down for LtC West in a nanosecond.

Don’t know if Sarah will throw in, but the Left will do ANYTHING they can to her and to her family to stop her. They’re trying the same with Trump, who’s no picnic, of course.

Most of all, we know these people are Americans by inclination and belief systems, not by ‘happenstance’ or (supposed) accident of birth.

Is that worse than America electing a Chicago community organizer whose votes in the Senate were LEFT of a Socialist Party Senator and who got elected because he was a black leftist and it was "cool" to vote for him, never mind what he stood for?

I think we're in big trouble already.

I’m leaning Mitch Daniels if he runs.

He has done a lot for Indiana according to my friend there. Not much face time and never heard him speak or know what he thinks but I’m willing to listen.

“I’m leaning Mitch Daniels if he runs.”

I’d rather watch paint dry than watch Mitch Daniels running for President. What a totally uncharismatic man he is, plus he is a basic RINO. If I’m going to be stuck with a RINO as Prez once again, I at least want a charismatic one. Daniels doesn’t turn on even my baby toe. Plus he has the short man’s complex. Put him up against Obama and it’s going to look like Mutt and Jeff, and visuals do matter.

Santorum and Gingrich had both announced exploratory committee's and Fox had to let them go. Sarah Palin has not yet announced either a candidacy or an exploratory which is why she is still at Fox. My eyes are wide open and I think she's running. The evangelicals who backed Huck will move to Sarah. One of us is correct.

What a relief. Now what’s it gonna take to get rid of Romney?

A miracle. An anti-establishment Revolution...
