Newt Revisited
My View of the World ^ | May 19, 2011 | James Willis

Newt Gingrich has certainly kept his name in the news this week, which is usually a good thing for a Presidential candidate, but I get the feeling this wasn’t the way he had intended it to happen. Rather than using his face time to discuss his plans for America, he has been forced to spend a great deal of time digging himself out of a hole.

Earlier this week I spent some time discussing his unfortunate comments, reaching the conclusion that his chances of winning the GOP nomination were basically non-existent. Since that time I have had an opportunity to hear Newt explain himself in several venues, the latest being a lengthy conversation with Rush Limbaugh.

I will have to admit that Gingrich has done a remarkably good job of clarifying his position on healthcare reform and on Paul Ryan’s budget proposal. Without rehashing everything he has said on the subject, I will say that he has convinced me that he has the right attitude regarding the constitutionality of socialized medicine, and that he fully appreciates how wrong the entire idea really is. During his discussion with Rush, he touched on a plan he has been working on for some time, which he plans to announce with . . .

It was a less-than-stellar week for the former US House Speaker. Is this all for Newt? Is it time to pass the handkerchiefs? James Willis evaluates Newt in light of some rather unfortunate events. Or were they?

I heard him on Rush today and don't believe a word he said. Neither did Rush, altho Rush was very kind to Newt. I don't believe him and wish he get the hell out of the race before he gives the libtards tons and tons and tons of ammunition to make all of us conservatives look like Nazis.

Can you imagine what Hitlery has on Newt (and Romney, for that matter) in her stolen 1000 FBI files that she could sell to Obambi?

Newt is damaged goods . . . and so is Romney . . . please, for the sake of our country, just go away before the libtards corrupt our primaries and help to install either of you on our ticket.

I had forgotten the mystery of the “missing” files. Thanks for the reminder.

And don't think that the Hilderbeast won't dangle them in front of anyone who wants to wade through them. The Clintons are grifters and would gladly sell more mud to make a buck.

That's why I'd love to see the "established-Hey-It's-My-Turn" Republicans get out of the way.
