The Friday before July 4th weekend would be the ideal time to release this little tidbit. Obamas own, hand picked Council of Economic Advisors announced that Obamas stimulus cost the tax payer $278,000 for every job allegedly created or saved.
If you believe that stimulus created or saved just under 2.4 million jobs, it did so at a cost of $666 billion to the rest of us.
Fox Business Networks Eric Bolling says another estimate put the cost at $1.4 millionper job created or saved. Thats a lot of shekels for part time, temporary census workers.
It gets worse. As of two quarters ago, the stimulus had added or saved 288,000 more jobs than it has now. Thus, we would have added or saved more jobs without stimulus.
Obamas brilliant stimulus plan is not only costing us an obscene amount of money, its now working backwards.

Aside from the simple cost of these jobs (money spent/jobs supposedly created or saved), does anyone ever ask, “For how long?”
Are these jobs permanent, or is the money gone, and the jobs supposedly created about to be as well?
Appropriate number for that crowd.
The problem was that Obama's stimulus plans wasted the money.
Had they used the funds to build nuclear plants, we could be enjoying much lower energy costs and that would be boosting the economy.
If the stimulus plan had put people to work doing something useful for a reasonable cost, then it would have cut the unemployment, food stamps, medicaid expenses, and even foreclosures. There would probably would have even been fewer people applying for social security disability too.
And probably 25% of dollars spent on salaries would flow back to the Federal Gov’t in the form of SSA, Medicare, and Federal Income taxes anyway, reducing the ultimate cost.
I’m not saying Obama’s stimulus wasn’t wasteful garbage, I’m just saying that if we had responsible people in office a smart stimulus plan could have worked.
