Pelosi would have the fallback of acting on “belief” that her statement was true and accurate
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Even though she was aware that Hawaii refused to sign it and she then provided them a different one? Just wondering!
Look, maybe we’re not as dumb as we seem. Let me rephrase that. We’re not as dumb as the FR Sanity Squad assumes. We know the difference between a fellow conservative correcting an error and a full-on Alinskyite attack. I personally have been corrected by fellow conservatives when I posted inaccurate information. The correction wasn’t made in a vicious name-calling spew of mockery and put-downs. It was just a helpful pointer in the right direction.
I have also been attacked by the Sanity Squad. They don’t, to put it bluntly, act like people who are on my side [i.e.: the side of conservativism]. They act like sharks who scent blood in the water. They go for the jugular. They want to set up a gotcha and inflict maximum damage.
AND they are cheered on by the uber-leftist moonbat Obots at the sites I have mentioned. Now how does that fit the narrative of ‘just good ole conservatives helping each other toward the truth’? If the opposing team is cheering you on while you mock, belittle and ridicule one of their sworn enemies, what exactly is going on???
It is impossible for anyone not to know whether they are being corrected by a FRiend or an enemy. A FRiend telegraphs that they’re on the your side, and you face a common foe—Obama.
An enemy makes YOU the target. It’s not about undercutting or discrediting Obama—and it’s certainly not about constructively correcting a fellow conservative. It’s about a full frontal assault on a conservative that raises cheers and atta-boys from the moonbats at Fogbow et al.
Still some tell us we’re all conservatives here. We are not. Conservatives can’t help but reveal their passion. We don’t confine ourselves to furthering Obama’s narrative on Eligibility threads. We post about many deeply felt conservative issues and views across a spectrum of topics.
Many in the Sanity Squad post on this issue and no other. Yet they are accepted with open arms by the rest of the Sanity Squad, who never raise a whisper of doubt as to their motives. So long as they’re laying into ‘birthers’ with a 2X4, just let them go hog wild.
I don’t buy it and neither do others who post on these threads. Seeing the Sanity Squad cheered on by Obama’s most ardent moonbat defenders is opening a lot of eyes. How’s that old ‘giving aid and comfort to the enemy’ thing going for you? Again, it’s not about correcting outright errors; it’s about how it’s done. When the method and tone combine in an attempt to destroy the conservative poster, it stinks to high heaven. And don’t think our noses are too dull to smell it.
Shrug.
Then we differ.
That’s an understatement. While you’re garnering cheers on moonbat sites, I’m getting brickbats. Well let me tell you, I’d rather be dissed by Obama’s most ardent supporters than atta-boyed.
I prefer to not judge my own efforts or work to discern truth based on what leftists think of me.
If a football player got more cheers from the opposing fans than from his own, he could use the same line.
Good thing I get plenty of cheers from the Conservative side of the aisle. Both here and on other Conservative websites.
Did you know that radio Evangelist Harold Camping was an avid stamp collector?
Yes indeed :(
She can say that she asked him again and being a US senator .. why would she doubt him.
She was taken in by the false COLB just like the rest of America .. etc etc etc
And that my FRiend is what they call “plausible deniability”
I think the crux of the sheriffs action would be in a fact or facts that some law of Arizona or law having force in Arizona was breached by Obama within time limits.
Is there no guilt on Piglosi for changing the form specificaly for HI?
They can not be this smart or lucky that it can all be plausibly denied. Can they? We are screwed if so.
Bad news for us: Yesterday I saw an acquaintance (husband of my wife's college roommate) for the second time in the past 30 years. He's a retired engineer, Purdue graduate. We talked some politics. He doesn't care. Bachman's stupid. The economy's bad because of Bush and his two expensive wars. (He didn't care that Obama escalated in Afghanistan and started a third war in Libya.) It's also bad because of the Republican Congress. (He didn't care that the Dems had absolute control for the first two years of the Obama Administration.) He's voting for Obama. He's not an isolated idiot.
ML/NJ
I have encountered people like this with seemingly some sort of brain damage. I don't mind idiots as long as they are paying taxes, and are therefore entitled to vote for idiocy. It is all the Democrat supporters who don't pay taxes or who WORK for the government (therefore having a conflict of interest) that I cannot stand!
It is unusual that an Engineer would be so obtuse. Let me guess, he's a "civil" engineer, and used to build government funded roads and other such projects. The salient point is "government funded."
Am I wrong?
Government money is a narcotic which we should all work to wean the people from.
I don't think so. He did work for GE for a long time, so maybe that's where the damage was done.
I didn’t say that. I was just referring to what Sheriff Joe can do. He does not have the authority to do anything to her as her crimes were not committed within his jurisdiction.
A Sheriff is the chief LEO in his county above all others constitutionally. But his authority is limited to his county.
I have to disagree to your statement here. The highest LEO is your county District Attorney. For the State it is the Attorney General.
The duty of a county district attorney is to prosecute alleged crimes. He does not have the power to personally arrest anyone, he does not have the power to form and arm a posse.
I stand by my statement that a duly elected county sheriff is one of the most powerful LEO in the land.
