Sarah Palin Is Running For President Of The United States 2012.
Unite And State ^ | 10/04/2011 | Mayer Abbey

The announcement is to be expected and will be coming shortly from all that I keep hearing, and my inbox is exploding. The writing is on the wall. The establishment class in the Republican party have thrown everything they could at thwarting a Palin run. There have been recent primary date changes in Florida and South Carolina. These moves were artificially moved forward to prevent any more time for a candidate to game the system, to leisurely let the field collapse before entering. This was a specifically choreographed effort by the GOP. The fear of a "Rogue" candidate is almost bordering on hysteria. They must be in control and must be a part of any candidacy. They cannot handle the rejection that Palin casts their way.

The establishment is under pressure because they know "they" will lose the party to a conservative coalition and they will soon be out of jobs. There was a strong push for a Chris Christie run. I predicted last week that he was not running, but that he would wait until the last possible moment to finally concede definitively that he was out. That moment came earlier today. I know there are many out there that will point out that he has been saying no for a long long time, and while that is true he has consistently dropped little nuggets that gave the establishment hope. The media was dragging the story a long and let us be honest Chris Christie loved the attention. The truth is Chris Christie did not want to run, he was being drafted to run or to string a long the media with the idea of a run. This would run down the clock and hopefully prevent Palin from entering the race.

The conventional collective wisdom

Well... Palin/anybody but really soured on Cain the last couple of days.

As long as I really, really liked him (which I did) I could ignore all his many negatives but after his blunder on The Rock I see him very differently.

Mine just missed 2008. Was born on the chosen ones coronation.

Glad to hear something joyous occurred on that day. Looking forward to your little one turning four.

“There is absolutely no downside for Mrs. Palin in lending her shoulder to Cain after having negotiated the VP slot..... At this stage of the game, I personally hope this is the direction she takes....... It is the biggest win for everybody......”

Don’t think so....Palin needs to be at the top of any ticket she is on.....She is the main attraction, face it.....

Amen to that.

I love Savage but I cannot listen to him anymore.

He has a unique ability to sqeeze 15 minutes of material into three hours.

“I’d back either ticket. But as I said, Cain/Palin is an more certain, less divisive, and less expensive “win”.”

Cain is pretty sharp guy. But he isn’t quite ready to be POTUS yet. Of course, he would be preferable to Romney anyday of the week.

I say this in kindness and affection for the man, but Cain’s 999 plan is not doable and will never by law. I for one prefer to pay the income tax I’m paying now, and I don’t want to pay more sales tax. I hate sales taxes. Goodness, if his plan went through, we would be paying 18 cents on a dollar in my current state, plus I would be paying more income tax than I do now. To be honestly selfish...why should I even want such a thing?

I think Sarah is the best idea, and could deal with a Cain VP to give him some experience. But not the head chair.

I’d like Sarah to run, as I’m still making up my mind on who to support in the primaries and would like to hear what she has to say as a candidate.

Some of her supporters rub me the wrong way, though. I really don’t like to see Obama-like hero worship among conservatives. The heroes are in the US military, not barking into microphones.

Right now I prefer Cain or Gingrich. I’m not sold on either; but of the declared candidates, I think I’ve liked what those two have said the most, and liked Huntsman the least.

“Cain can’t deliver anything”

He can deliver a pizza with 9 toppings in 9 minutes for 9 dollars, and that’s about all he can deliver. However, many want to follow him into the Rat trap and give 0 another four years!

I should point out that if, rather than coming to the fore, she instead threw her weight behind Cain -- to which Cain would thank her with a VP slot -- this election would already be over, and they would win in a landslide, and Palin would not need to spend a fraction of her coffers in the effort.

Wouldn't Palin/Cain make more sense, experience-wise? Cain has good values and ideas but no government experience. Then, after 8 years learning the ropes as an active VP, not the ornamental bucket-of-warm-spit variety, he can succeed her in the big chair.

would have said Perry, but he’s had so much bad press

....and Palin is always the recipient of good press???????

The press does love to manipulate the voter's squishy little minds = the media bias game. As in: the Brooklin Bridge Occupy Wall Street protestors/students [his "shoes were splattered with paint and whose leather jacket, he said,...a gift from his mother.] have hopes to take over the press and cause further chaos.

The power of the media in how you think.

I agree. I hope her security is ironclad, lean and mean. The Left will be gunning for her.

Left, hell! I'm not sure the Gerry Ford country-club branch of the GOP doesn't hate and fear her more than the Dems do.

Cain, for that matter no one else has ever been vetted like Sarah has. Who ever gets the nod (save Sarah), the MSM will come down hard with N*ggerHeads and Lies, bet on it.

Sarah 2012!
