That was an outstanding game!

And best yet it was the last.

However, Ausin will miss the Aggies coming to town and eating our roadkill for Thanksgiving.

118 years.

Rivalries are the best of college football, and this one is gone. Along with everything else.

Women in Corps. No more SWC. No more Cotton Bowl. No more bonfires. No more Turkey Day games.

I’m feeling really old right now.

Thanks for the memories, Aggies, & good luck in the SEC!

Also thanks to ESPN for live streaming the game so I could watch it, & for pointing out that the first time these 2 teams met, Grover Cleveland was president & there were only 44 states.

Aggies are joining the best conference in college sports. Welcome to the SEC.

” No more Turkey Day games”

Don’t worry, the Longhorns will continue to play on Thanksgiving.

The Aggies did everything they could to lose. But they had a great deal of help from the lousy personal foul call that let the Longhorns get within field goal range.

Officials should not be the ones to decide the outcome of the game.

“Officials should not be the ones to decide the outcome of the game.”

76-37-5. The Zebras did not cost the Aggies that many games.

And yes, when you are the team that financially carries the conference, you get a few good calls.

At Kyle Field any team goes in 6 points down. The Ags have choked all year long. It got really funny. When they would get substantial leads they seemed to yak up on their cleats. 79-37-5....not that competitive over the long haul. Sad Ags....Woops.

“Officials should not be the ones to decide the outcome of the game.”

The officials were just enforcing a horrible rule. The defender led with the top of his helmet on the “hit” so technically it was a penalty. The game of football has been reduced to tiddly winks.

Aggies are gonna get beat down like redheaded stepchild in the SEC.

That's admitting that the SEC is a stronger conference than the Big 12 (minus how many)?

A&M wanted to continue playing the game but UT wouldn't...UT being UT, wanting to run everything their way.

What conference has the top three teams in the country today? It isn't the Big 12 (minus?).

Goodbye Aggies. I hope you somehow figure out how to play an entire season with the intensity you show against Texas every year. Until you do, you’ll always be mediocre. Time to grow up and spread your wings and build your own destiny.

The state of Texas has enough great players to have two National Championship caliber programs. Alabama can do it, Texas can do it too. It’s up to you, Aggies. Good luck and I mean that.

And, no, we don’t want to keep playing you if you’re leaving. And, frankly. you shouldn’t want to with what you’ll be facing in the SEC.

Yes, the SEC is better than the Big 12.

If A&M would have stayed in the Big 12 Texas would continue to play them.

However, it seems that while Aggies hate Texas, they love the cash they get from playing the Horns.

But, don’t worry. The Longhorns will be fine on Thanksgiving and will likely be playing the Irish.

The Aggies can schedule Texas State.
