OWS has lied and stated that their goal is not to get rid of capitalism. And the Media was more than welcome to cover their eyes and believe them; the Huffington Post, for example, was more than welcome to spread their lies.
But all it takes is a little digging and anyone can find Occupy Wall Street's goal is not only known, it is official. Anyone who argues otherwise is a liar or a moron (or both).
All one needs to do is to go over to OWS's official website. Under the very first article, entitled Who We Are, the group details their goals. Wade through some rambling craziness and you will come to a link, created and put there by the founders of the protests.
Simply follow that link and in big letters you will see this:

They might want to take a look at Vietnam. After all the years of war and communism finally taking over they still were unable to effectively stamp out capitalism.
Once people provide for themselves, they don’t give it up easily.
They think Communism is all about getting “Free stuff” they can sit on their asses all day and collect money without actually having to move their behinds..once they see what communism is all about they won’t love it anymore. Im all for sending them to North Korea, or Cuba.

Ya know, they’ve been working so hard all these weeks out in the cold and rain. They have earned some R&R. With American Airlines tanking, maybe we can get a group discount on one way tickets to Cuba.
Even Cuba is making small steps toward capitalism.

I’m not disputing that this is one of their most common goals, but OWS doesn’t have an “official” website.
We once had something very similar to communism in the US. Your job was guaranteed, your home was guaranteed, your food was guaranteed. Everything was taken care of for you, and you didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was called the slave plantation.
Under communism, you are Property of the State. You are told what to do, you are told what to think. If you attempt to resist you will be arrested, tortured and possibly killed in order to preserve the absolute power of the state. These kids think they are fighting for freedom but they are actually forging their own chains. I do not see them succeeding.
The reason the protestors believe what they do is the KGB told them to do so. Ex KGB agents have come forward and revealed how they told “useful idiots” like Howard Zinn and Nome Chomsky to teach students to hate their country. American history is not about freedom and oppertunity but greed, hate and racism. Socialism/Communism is the “cure” for these supposed injustices. The OWS protestors are the end result of this indoctrination.
