Newt Gingrich "The Unfaithful"
Conservative Blogs Central ^ | Friday, December 16 | BC

Posted on 12/17/2011 6:50:32 AM PST by conservativeBC

This is sure to bring on the wrath of the Gingrich settlers, but it needs to be said. There is no need to click on the source link, because it says the same thing there.

How many of you have lived through the experience of an unfaithful spouse?

If you have you know that a cheater doesn't just tell one little white lie. In order to cover their trail of deceit, they have to become serial black liars. A person who has cheated has told thousands of lies, to their spouse, their friends, their coworkers, their families and to themselves.

If you are among the millions that have suffered the misfortune of being married to this type of person you know what they are. They are the type of people who can look you in the eye and tell you lie after lie, half truth after half truth, and never show even a hint of remorse.

Newt Gingrich is a man who has done this to not just one women, but to two. And at least one of them was deathly ill, if not both of them.

Think about that. Put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Think about being married to someone sorry enough to do that to you.

To the people have been there, or have had family go through this, you know how devastating it is. And you know all too well what kind of a person it takes to do it.

So how could you ever support this man when you have so many running who as Rush, Beck, and Mark Levin says can beat Obama? Any of them can win.

Don't believe what the establishment is trying to convince you of. All of these candidates are electable. It was their stupidity that gave us John McCain. How did that work out for you?

Don't settle. We are better than that.

Even if you believe Newt Gingrich when he says that he has ask for forgiveness and has become a better person, you should forgive but you would be foolish to forget.

I would be willing to forgive Sandusky if he repented, but he still has to be punished. And it would be a cold day in hell before he babysitted my boy.

The same with Newt. I can forgive, but I am not about to hand him the levers of power when there are still other choices.

I would -- as a last resort -- vote for him over Obama; because they are both liars. But any of the candidates running are better than Newt Gingrich. Even a hard core RINO like Romney, and a first class nut job like Ron Paul.

At least they have some integrity.

You’ve convinced me. We need to vote for the candidate who has been faithful to his wife, sticks to his values, is handy in a debate, and has a very good chance of winning the election. Trouble is, that’s Obama. Brilliant!

If a man cannot remain faithful to keep his word to God regarding his wife, why should he remain faithful to any other commitment he makes? Convenience?

Well, I haven’t been privileged to the conversations between Newt and God, so I will refrain from passing judgment on Newt’s sins. Besides, I view that as God’s job. Kudos to you for being all knowing.

My problem with all the Republican candidates is that they are serial sinners. They do it everyday and repeatedly. We need a candidate like the Democrats found - the Messianic type who has not and will not sin. No adultery, no lying at all, no judging of others, no stealing, no envy, no boasting. Wake me up when this type of person announces. Nothing less will get my vote.

I appreciate that.

I left that open because I knew that someone would be dumb enough to bite on it. I guess that someone would be you.

No an old girlfriend and a close friend had her husband do that to her after fifteen years of marriage.

After laying in bed for about six weeks, she took a hand full of pills and killed herself.

Of course he left the second one and moved on to another, but you can still find the sorry SOB sitting next to number three — grinning like a monkey — every Sunday in church.

And that is exactly the type of sorry bastard you a defending with your little smart ass remark. And that is the same type of worthless SOB that you are wanting to put in the White House.

I wonder how many people you offended?

And I wonder how many of those people have decided not to vote for Gingrich because of you?

“And that is exactly the type of sorry bastard you a defending with your little smart ass remark. And that is the same type of worthless SOB that you are wanting to put in the White House.”

Sorry about your girlfriend, but as man who has been married for 43 years to the same woman, I’ll stand by my smart ass remark.

It takes two people to make a marriage, and it also takes two to destroy one. There are of course exceptions to this, but I’ve found in life that people pretty much treat you the way you treat them. This is also true in marriage - only amplified.

Marriages don’t end before a judge, by the time it gets to that point the marriage is already over. Not necessarily over to the point that it can’t be fixed, but over, none-the-less...

“Taking care of business in the bedroom” perhaps is simplistic, because there is a lot of reasons a marriage can fall apart, but sex is by far the single most intense focal point.

Your friend’s marriage was over long before he cheated on her... Sorry that’s just the way it is, it doesn’t matter which party strays - and it’s about equal male or female.

When more than half the couples in this country split up, singling out Newt for having multiple relationships is disingenuous. He’s more “normal” in that respect than someone like me, who’s only had one.

To quote my mom who would have turned 100 this past July, “it takes two to tango”.

Hi yourself.;-)

BTW, I agree with BabyGene's Mom that it takes two to tango and would add that it is virtually impossible for people outside of a couple's marriage and divorce to know what's going on inside. In fact, usually the two people in the marriage don't know quite what is going on when things turn bad.

Life is complicated...and marriage and relationships are, well, beyond complicated.

If your pic is yawning, wake up and drink some coffee and get yourself more informed. If the pic is of you trying to gag yourself, you need to realize that bulimia is not healthy. If you’re disconsolate because of your male pattern baldness, try the hair club for men.

Basically, that post was as useless and uninformed as your previous one.

Folks who use technical medical terms really should learn what the specific meaning is before tossing them out to look knowledgable.

Sorry but in these cases it isn't "two" but "three" and there can be no waltz or tango that way.

I disagree that both are responsible in cases of infidelity. God allows divorce for only one thing in His Book - adultry. IMO that is because one party is an innocent victim. If both were responsible, the Lord would not have provided divorce at all likely.

You've made a great case for why Newt's two ex-wives shouldn't vote for him. As for me, I don't think that the fact he's loved more than one woman throughout his long life is reason to give Slick Mitt the nomination. Newt has human failings. Mitt apparently doesn't, yet somehow that makes me trust Romney less.

Sorry Hatttie, GOD doesn’t allow for divorce even for adultry... Perhaps the Old Testament does, but not in Christ’s church. That is precisely why the Catholic Church doesn’t recognize divorce.
