I guess it is because we are “heartless”
I heard something interesting tonight, on another site. This may be completely wrong, but some people were saying that contrary to how it looks now, Mitt Romney might not be the establishment's "pick." They were saying that they think Perry is going to end up being the establishment's guy. He does kinda remind me of Dubya in some ways. No offense to any of you who support him, but from what I have gathered about him, I get the feeling he is another big-government wolf in sheep's clothing, disguised as a conservative...which would just mean a continuation of the same road we've been on. I don't know about anyone else, but I strongly feel that if we don't reverse the course we've been on, we're in big trouble. And we're running out of chances, so I hope people will finally snap out of this slumber they've been in, and realize that we're being played like fools.
Perry is no conservative and they are certainly not voting for him. Did you miss yesterday or are you just choosing to ignore it?
Your hero has gone from joke of a candidate to being a real threat of assisting Romney in every state. He needs to go and soon.
Perry actually got in Obamas face and space in Texas awhile back. He tried to hand Obama himself a letter regarding the border. No other candidate has got right up and personal with Obama like Perry did.
Put the cork back in the bottle. To twist history and facts that are staring you in your face and come up with that, shows how out of touch or desperate anti-Perry posters have become. Nice bit of opposition smearing.
And he's fighting federal agencies and has a redistricting case before the Supreme Court and Eric Holder has Texas' Photo ID languishing on his desk -- waiting is "approval."
Perry has been battling BIG government and winning many battles.
Now he wants to win the war.
And that is why I think Perry is the one that would intimidate Obama the most.

He has been my Governor for over 10 years now and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that Rick Perry is NOT the establishment pick and he damn sure is NO WAY NO HOW anything like Dubya. ME: THAT is the truth and if you believe that then you should reconsider Perry. He is the only one that will change the status quo and he will do it in a big way.

Perry wants the border sealed (states he can do it within a year), kill off the cartels and NO amnesty.
Perry has spent only a small fraction of that amount on border security- less than 2 million on Ranger Recon Teams that Perry so loudly brags about. Most of that 400 million has been absorbed by Texas DPS to fund other operations in the state that have NOTHING to do with border security. Some of it is being spent providing personal security to Perry as a political candidate currently posing as a governor. That's more Texas taxpayer money being pissed away by Perry that he should be footing the bill for out of his own campaign pocket.
Why does Perry continually feel compelled to lie about his commitment to border security? Why do you continually support his lies?
