Posted on 01/08/2012 4:44:27 PM PST by mnehring
Supporters of Ron Paul produced a hit job on Jon Huntsman attacking Huntsman over his adopted daughter. His daughter, ftom China, was left for dead in a market and the Huntsmans intervened, got her back to good health, and adopted her.
Someone put up a video attacking Huntsman adoption as proof that Huntsman is a foreign agent.
The video began circulating among Ron Paul supporters and when Huntsman called them out, the Ron Paul campaign swung into high gear and produced a report that I can only venture to suspect was written by someone hopped up on gardasil, having acquired the mental retardation Michele Bachmann warned us about.
The Ron Paul campaign NOT SUPPORTERS, BUT CAMPAIGN analysis concludes that Jon Huntsman attacked his own daughter in an attempt to smear Ron Paul.
Yes, friends, it has come to that level of dain bramage.
While the media is licking its chops over the he said he said of the Ron Paul analysis I should note that ridicule of the families of the other candidates is par for the course for Ron Paul supporters.
Heres a Paul supporter on Ron Pauls wall on Facebook ridiculing Rick Santorums family:
The Paul campaign could have had the common decency to just say it was a supporter and condemn the attack on Jon Huntsman and his daughter.
But the Paul campaign seems only willing to condemn black people, Jews, and gays. Everyone else is fair game, including the children of other Presidential candidates.
Whats even more disturbing though is the Politico and other news outlets treating the Ron Paul defense as legitimate and questioning the Huntsman campaign. Thats not something the media even did to John McCain in 2000 with the awful attacks on him in South Carolina.
Pitiful all around.
Why would he even go after Huntsman? The guy is at the back of the pack.
Are the primaries in NH and SC both open ?
he and his supporters must be still high on dope or they’re just plain nuts, either way the man should not be allowed to run on the GOP platform as he is not a republican nor should be be bale to use the party to spew his lunatic ideas
I don’t like Huntsman but good for him and his wife for adopting this child.
Paul supporters are lunatics and Paul apparently is encouraging them.
Gingrich - unbalanced.
Hunsman - unhinged.
Santorum - brain fever.
Perry - kleptomaniac.
Bachnann - Body dysmorphic disorde
What else can we say to keep people home next November?
Big fat dumb head. Forgot that one. Dang, ran out of candidates.
You hate Ron Paul. I’ve seen your posts in here for years.
He is definitely not your cup of tea.
That doesn’t give you the right to misrepresent his positions. As far as I know,he has never been against Blacks,Jews or Gays. I say that in awareness that somebody made derogatory remarks and attributed them to him.
Okay,so you hate him. Well, tonight I watched a townhall event after which a Jewish man, with the hat, beard and long forelocks came up to him, smiled and was very friendly to him. He says Isreal shouldn’t have to answer to us or ask our permission to do anything. Further, other countries in the Middle East get far more aid from us than does Isreal. And that is not good for Isreal.
There were Black people and Asian people there too. I don’t know about Gays, but I do know that he has asked in the past what business the government has in marriage. I agree with that position.
You hate him. Okay. Just don’t misrepresent.
I repeat my views on Ron Paul made the other day. That guy is a weasel.
But what about the suggestion that the GOP is nuts? We are sane when we stand up and we talk about real solutions for the American people, Huntsman said. We are insane when we stand up and light our hair on fire, when we engage in political theatrics and soundbites that just dont make any sense. The American people need real ideas, and they ultimately want to be brought together. They want this country to work. http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2012/01/why-is-jon-huntsmans-campaign-going-nowhere.php
Thanks, look like will be contending with Paul for sometime yet.
On December 29, 2011, Ron Paul acknowledged that he bore some responsibility for his newsletters. Fine. He said there "eight or ten bad sentences" in them. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2826496/posts
I have .pdfs of all or parts of some of his newsletters. There are more than eight or ten 'bad' sentences about blacks, jews, and gays per issue. At least, I consider these kinds of things as 'bad':
And of course the Mossad may have been responsible for the first World Trade Center bombings.
Plus, he's just nuts. Giving advice to militas on how to avoid wiretaps and select members? Those aren't bad sentences?
I could continue with "bad" sentences about how the government created AIDs, or how the government is involved in a disinformation campaign about how bad crack is for you, or about tracking you with your pink money, or about Trilateralist conspiracies, or about the international financial blackmail conspiracy that resulted in the Panama Canal treaty, or . . .
Only eight or ten bad sentences? Then he's nuts and a bigoted anti-Semite.
You realized, of course, that for some reason the people at Stormfront were supporting him again:
You are obsessed. Your hate for him and his supporters oozes from just about every post of yours. I’ll pray for you.
Well, FDH, I don’t hate Paul, I do loath his policies and think he is delusional.
Paul has not been misrepresented on FR.
Has he been mocked for his delusions - oh yea.
Has he been ridiculed because he is foreign policy impaired - you betcha.
Has his thirty year history been exposed just to be denied by with rabid support - yes siree.
So here are some representations of Paul real caricature:
Paul said: U.S. foreign policy significantly contributed to 9/11 attacks
Paul said: Israel is in part responsible for 9/11
Paul said: Returning white supremacist donation is pandering
Paul endorsed Cynthia McKinney
Paul supports OWS
Paul has been endorsed by David Duke, nazi party of America,
Rev. Phillip G. Kayser, Stormfront and more groups and individuals such as these
Paul has claimed he in fact did know about those “newsletters” and may have participating in writing some of the context
Paul continues to spread the myth that the military supports him (donations)
Really do we need to go on?
Paul needs to go away........
I don’t anyone who supports a lunatic like Paul should be talking about someone else’s mental issues .
You promote a:
Hates the US military -and called them war criminals
Support Iran getting the bomb
Peddles a racist newsletter and lied about it
That the short list !
You support a fraud and a madman .
Do you hates Jews like Ron?
Are you a 9/11 truther like Ron?
Did you support the Code Pink / Hamas flotilla against Isral like Ron?
You can not handle the truth just like Ron when
Confronted about his racist newsletter !
Paul ‘s entire support in IA came from Dems !
Your doing the spin and lies here .
Your trying to retire history .
Do you the US military and consider them
War Criminals like you leader ?
Hello Paul support are Democrats !
In IA he support was 82 percent Dems !
Stop trying to fool people here with the
The guy is a dangerous nut.
Sorry, but the facts do not bear out your accusations. Try composing and expressing an original thought. And then try backing it up with some facts.
“The guy is a dangerous nut.”
One who has no particular loyalty to the United States of America,to our traditions, values and the Supreme law of our land, the U.S. Constitutions, might believe as you do.
You,of course, are free to believe whatever propaganda suits your taste, whether or not it is grounded in fact.
Do you respect our Constitutional government or do you want to ride along with those who would destroy your liberty and the protection of your God given rights as a human being?
No,he has been misrepresented many times, such as your contention that he endorsed Cynthia McKinney. That’s absurd. He did endorse Reverend Chuck Baldwin for President during the last Presidential election cycle.
So that is an example of a misrepresentation of one of his positions that you promulgated here.
Apparently a few unappealing characters have liked him. So what? He has no control over that. Maybe we should launch a digging party about all of the Republican candidates donors. Think there will be any just as if not more objectionable?
Hey,you either want to be free and prosperous or you want economic and social slavery. Decide. The choice is clear.
Further,start telling the truth.
While this Redstate might make some valid points, I’d say that all of us need to keep in mind that the enemy is Obama. It costs us nothing to be nice to the often youthful Paul supporters. In the long run, we want Paulites to support the R nominee. We want to try to bring everyone together, as much as possible.
It is Sarah Palin who said just a few nights ago that we, as Republicans, could pay a price if we dismiss or dis the Ron Paul supporters.
WASHINGTON (CNN) 11/2008 Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul will call on supporters to back a third party candidate for president Wednesday, rejecting his own partys nominee and offering equally harsh words for the Democratic candidate.
Paul, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican presidential nomination, will tell supporters he is not endorsing GOP nominee John McCain or Democratic nominee Barack Obama, and will instead give his seal of approval to: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney
Former presidential candidate Ron Paul urged his supporters today to vote for a minor-party candidate, saying that he had rejected a last-minute appeal from Republican John McCain for his endorsement.
The Texas congressman cultivated a loyal following and raised sizable amounts of campaign cash online during the Republican primaries.
At a news conference in Washington he appeared with Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney, the former Georgia congresswoman.
Interesting you only picked out the McKinney reference and ignored all the others, does that mean you agree? Just wondering.
As Bill Engvall would say to Ron Paul supporters: Heeeere's your sign:
Projecting much. None of those things came up. I just represent Paul’s own words and don’t buy his own backpedaling when he denies he said or wrote it. Sorry, your name is to it for two decades, you made a million a year from it, you own it. His early career in the 80s and 90s were based a lot on these writings. They defined who he was to his fans. You don’t get to pick and choose what was under your name saying ‘well, if it was good, I wrote it, if it were one of the “eight or ten controversial sentences” that make me look bad, I didn’t’. You don’t get to ignore you admitted to writing them in 92 & 93 on national television (CSPAN) and to the Houston Chronicle and Dallas Morning News, then ignore you never said them.
That is his history, along with the lying about his ‘perfect’ record in congress- he is a fraud. Plain and simple.
I’ve followed the old tool since the early 90s when I lived in his district, I know a lot more about him and his circle than I’ve even mentioned here. You really don’t want to go there. I’ve stuck to the big stuff from the major sources, but if the merry band of paultards really wants to go there and claim ‘misrepresentation’ I may pull out the dusty old box of info. Ever hear of Nadia Hayes?
Hey, you forgot old Ralphy Nader. He was party of the loony trio Paul endorsed. He tried to throw Bob Barr into that mix and Barr would have none of it, calling it a joke and a spectacle.
Of course, I'm sure the excuse is, this never happened. This was a 'ghost actor' and not really Paul.
Thou shalt not blaspheme Ronpaul, the gravest sin of all!
T'is truly sad to see what has become of her.
