Time has come for me to leave the chaos of FreeRepublic.
Over the past 13 years I always felt that FR was the home of Conservatives with core values that could not be compromised. This election cycle has shown me that I have been wrong in my assessment.
The lack of moral or intellectual commitment by many of the FR members has resulted in the end of my involvement.
I'm sure JR and many others are pleased but know that the early years were great experiences.
God Bless to all and enjoy the next 4 years of Obama.
Newt, Romney or Obama is no choice at all. Looks like the GOP wants to lose this one.
I am still going with Santorum.
We get RINO’s because they get votes.
Contemporary politics validate my tag-line; once we stop voting for ass-clowns, the ass-hats will stop running for election.
There’s only ONE way that I know of to send a shiver up the GOP’s spine: support & vote for Ron Paul in any way that you possibly can.
When Ron Paul begins to WIN primaries, can you imagine the hysteria and shrieking of the media how irrelevant the primaries are? They’ll not ONLY want to do away with electoral college, but the whole electoral process.
You watch and mark my words well; if Ron Paul gets any traction whatsoever, you watch the commie-media’s response (and how either Mitt or Newt move to the right as a result).
We don’t have to deal with Ron Paul in office, but Ron Paul CAN move conservative politics farther to the right than eigher of the leading candidates at present show promise of doing.
I have been visiting FR since 99 with other nicks. You are just another one of those who assumes too much and thinks even less.
Marty, ya gotta quit being so wrapped up in the candidate and consider the army moving whichever candidate we wind up with.
Perry is actually going to be spending MORE time on the effort with Newt. He’s as adamant as we are about no zero and no mitt, no how, no way. He brings the Governors of the States with him. Newt is going to give him every avenue he needs to stop this crap.
Remember, we took it back November 2010 with no legal leader, and we’re damned sure going to do it again this November. We’ve drawn and tasted blood, and want more, more!
Our Army is about to become a tsunami, again. We’ve studied what nastiness the left uses and beat them at their own game. It’s inevitable and they know it, that’s why they’re having Hillary dip her toe in.
Take a break and come back rested, ready and tanned.

I watch news on the local Fox station. They have not once covered the issues, only the GOP scandals and gaffes while totally making Obama look above it all.
I imagine the rest of the media is just as bad.
I don’t think they even mentioned Santorum until after Iowa and that was mostly in passing.

Oddly enough I aimed and fired the ZOT!master 2000 but it gave a double ZOT! instead of just the one. I’m going to see if it needs some adjustment so it will be ready for the next time.
