Hey, friends.
I have a 7-year-old adopted daughter who is medically fragile with a host of health problems. She developed massive bleeding in her gastrointestinal tract earlier today. She's undergone multiple transfusions so far and is in surgery right now to find the source of the bleeding.
Jasmine has always been a fighter. And I know that no matter what the outcome is, she has always been safe and secure in the hands of God.
Would you all just lift our little Jasmine up in your prayers tonight? I simply ask you to pray that God's perfect will be done- nothing more, nothing less. Thank you all for your prayerful support of this amazing little girl.
I will let you know the outcome as soon as possible.

Jasmine's condition has improved. Her hematocrit is up to 31% from 26.9% yesterday. There are no signs of continued bleeding at this time. While we are left scratching our heads as to precisely where she is bleeding from, we are counting our blessings nonetheless.
The docs are talking about discharging her from ICU to the medical unit. She could sure use the rest!
There is no telling yet how much longer it will take for her to completely recover from this baffling setback. While Jasmine is a fighter, her pre-existing medical conditions strip her of any reserves. When she goes down, she goes down like a rhino off the high dive. Every once in a while, she manages to scare the everlovin' heck out of us.
Your prayers are appreciated far beyond what I could ever express to you. Thanks for gathering around my family and my daughter. She is guarded, but slowly improving.

So Jasmine’s bleeding stopped, but the doctors never found out what happened. Sounds like either God intervened, or the natural body processes repaired itself. In my mind, either one is a miracle of God.

Thanks, and yes good news indeed. Our Father in Heaven does hear our prayers in Christ’s Holy Name. I pray for the Lord’s Will in this precious child’s life.

It sounded so serious, Gunner, that I was afraid to hope but nonetheless we prayed for Jasmine. We’re not going to stop until you give the green light in your next update. Thank you, Lord, for sticking with Jasmine and her wonderful family.
