It's a myth that illegal immigrants don't pay taxes, says Dulce Guerroro, a self-confessed illegal immigrant living in Mableton, Georgia.
Guerrero's whole family is undocumented, except for her 13-year old younger brother, who was born in the U.S. and is a U.S. citizen. She says that they all work and pay taxes through their Internal Revenue System (IRS) issued Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs).
"People always, always point out that we don't pay taxes, which is a complete lie," Guerrero told Business Insider.
"We have a government issued tax ID number. So the government knows very well who we are. They know very well where we live and they have all of our information. I am sure if they ever wanted to pick us up, since they have our tax ID number, they have our information. We pay taxes just like everyone else."

And they aren’t paying taxes as a sole proprietor who has to pay taxes to be in business, either.
Many criminals pay their taxes, doesn’t make them any less a criminal.
Their life is no bed of roses, yet there's no chance of the Indian population getting an increase in the number authorized immigration to America ~ still, they hope ~ and pray to several dozen gods ~ and have their application in!
Fortunately his wife has an MBA ~ and that's good for two part time jobs.
Someday they hope to be able to pay ten times as much taxes to the IRS as the Mexican is paying who is blocking their immigration.
She is full of crap. She does not have federal income tax withheld, then she files the tax return to get the refundable child credit.
Sure they pay taxes. Hard to avoid some of them.
But how much do they get in benefits, and how does it compare to what they receive?
I bet they are, massively, net tax eaters.

Illegals routinely have more spending money than American citizens. This shows up in retail sales where illegals live, one method of tracking the underground economy. Illegals also get all sorts of taxpayer financed welfare benefits, from free school meals to health care and HUD housing, and anyone who thinks that they get weeded out when they apply for government benefits is living in a dream world.

The underlying premise that makes that statement a lie is the fact that to pay taxes you must have a J-O-B and go to WORK! I saw a figure recently that over $600 Billion per year goes to illegals WHO DON’T WORK or pay taxes!
This has turned into a big business here in Fresno. The illegal files for tax return for earned income credit (EIC or EITC). All these tax businesses have sprung up to either loan money with a high interest rate or do their taxes for a fee. It is another welfare program on the back of the taxpaying citizen. My head explodes when I see these idiots dressed as the statue of Liberty on the street corner to advertise their business which encourages these illegals to file. It would be better if they didn’t file so I wouldn’t have to pay their EIC.
P.S. “Nobody is ALL bad,” I thought, as I caught a moment of Geraldo on Fox News this morning. Geraldo at least speaks English, and has a job!

No. ITINs are not valid identification outside the tax system. Since ITINs are strictly for tax processing, IRS does not apply the same standards as agencies that provide genuine identity certification.
ITIN applicants are not required to apply in person, and IRS does not further validate the authenticity of identity documents. ITINs do not prove identity outside the Federal tax system, and should not be offered or accepted as identification for non-tax purposes.
Are ITINs valid for work purposes?
No. ITINs are for federal income tax purposes only. Getting an ITIN does not change your immigration status or your right to work in the United States.
Can ITINs be used as proof of identification to obtain a state driver’s license?
No. ITINs are not valid for identification outside the tax system. For more information access the DMV communication provided to the state departments of motor vehicles.
