SANFORD, Fla. — New analysis of calls to police made by George Zimmerman, who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, show a man who never offered up race as a descriptor of suspicious people in the neighborhood watch area until being prompted by a dispatcher. On the calls he made to Sanford, Fla., police he seems reluctant to take initiative in pursuing one suspicious man.
Since August 2011, Zimmerman called in to a non-emergency police line seven times, according to documents released by the Sanford Police Department. Of those calls, five were made to report a “suspicious person.” In the audio released by Seminole County Sheriff’s Department, he describes the suspicious characters as black or African-American, though never mentioning race until after asked to describe the characters. Five of calls all began similarly, with Zimmerman saying that he was calling as a result of past break-ins or robberies.
Zimmerman appears to be quite business-like in the calls, offering detailed descriptions of what he was seeing in a matter-of-fact manner. On one call he relates details of kids playing in the street, darting by passing cars.
In another call he described two “suspicious” men that he said were loitering, adding that he had “never seen them before.” Another described a black male wearing a black leather jacket and hat with ear flaps. Zimmerman said that he had seen the man picking up trash and “didn’t know what his deal was.” In this call, Zimmerman adds that, “I don’t want to approach him personally.”

I guess things changed when the 6-ft black teenager, his face hidden by hoodie suddenly jumped on him, broke his nose, knocked him to the ground and started bashing his head.
I guess at that point, things became less calm. Which seems understandable to me.

The Florida AG is not likely to pursue charges against Zimmerman, and this article indicates to me that they have nothing to charge him on. He acted within the power of his charge as neighborhood watch, and he defended himself within the boundaries of the law.
Sanford, FL is about to become the new Selma, AL.
If the Sanford Police and Florida AG are going to uphold the non-prosecution of Zimmerman they ought to announce it at a press conference at 8:00am Easter morning.
When the next Reginald Denny gets his head stoved in by a brick on Florida’s streets I hope NBC News, Al Sharpton, the NAACP, and Jesse Jackson can be charged as accessories to the attack. Becuase that’s where we’re heading, and they’re looking to incite, pure and simple.

I think we have already had two reginald denny’s so far, the hammer attack of a 50 year old man near Sanford and that 78 year old man that was attacked in ohio. There will be more though if Zimmerman walks, and he should.

Yes, I did. I think it is sickening that they continue to do it. I hope his lawyer is keeping track of all the news media he can. If he can sue there will be a long list of defendants.

Reminds me of one of the SCARRY MOVIE sequels in which a white boy wins a rap contest to be in the hood.
He then flips up his hoodie while hollering “We in the hood!” with a stiff arm out, but the hoodie is too pointed for everyone, so he is thrown out a window.

ABC is a day late and a dollar short on their factual reporting!
I don’t usually cheer lawsuits but this is one of the times I will.
I hope Zimmerman has fantastic attorneys and they sue the snot out of these ‘news sources’.
I feel like I have watched the public gang-rape of a private citizen— by media. It has been revolting!
And don’t tell me Trayvon team is clean, they have fed this, they have went for ™ on Trayvon’s name. And they are looking to sue the snot out of the HOA.
Trayvon’s girlfriend or someone REAL close to her has made money selling her story to the National Enquirer.
And to be blunt, I think Trayvon’s dad is a chitty dad and isn’t the most honest man.
