I know Romney’s track record as governor of Massachusetts. And previous statements, etc., but all were some time ago. Ronald Reagan changed considerably over the course of his life time. LOL, one could certainly argue that Willard was lying about believing in liberal things years ago - after all he was in Massachusetts back then and it was much more of a leftist constituency.

Romney will be whatever he has to in order to get elected and stay relevant in office. As a Republican he will sound "reasonably" conservative, and do whatever is necessary to win the election. If he thinks he has the necessary support to get conservative things done as President, he will. If he thinks he has to run to the middle and win over indies and moderate Democrats to get anything done, he will. The man is a chameleon. Hell, he may really be very conservative in his own mind, but he is willing to ditch that ideology on the alter of political expediency as necessary. Romney just wants to be President, and he will say and do almost anything necessary to get the job. Lots of politicians have ego's like that. Some turn out fairly okay, others are a disaster.

Still, I'd rather roll the dice with Willard than not do everything in my power to eject Hussein, a known radical left socialist, from the White House. Obama in office for the next 4 years will DEFINITELY be awful. Willard in office for the next 4 years MIGHT be awful. The later is a better gamble.

A lot of people simply don't seem to know how political party's work. If you are going to make it up the ladder of any political party, you are expected to endorse it's eventual nominee and, at minimum, help him/her win in order to keep the political enemy out of office. In order to have ever gotten anywhere within the party, everyone has made compromises and people that disagree with them on many issues have still supported them. They simply return the favor because that is how political party's work. That's just how our 2 party system functions and it is not going to change.

This is my theory. As we move closer and closer to the election, there will be more and more surrogates of obama claiming that anyone who speaks against obama is a racist. Currently, at least 40 % of American voters are gladly willing to give Obama the necessary power to continue his dictatorship.

I have to stop myself from hysterically laughing every time I read stuff like that. It is actually much simpler. He was not a wanted child.

His mother’s family sent her to Kenya to fob the baby off onto the Luo Tribe, but they wanted nothing to do with a half-white bastard kid.

His father didn’t want him, either.
