Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 administrator Al Armendariz apologized for boasting that the Obama Administrations approach toward environmental enemies was to crucify them. Armendariz attributed his remarks to his misunderstanding of the scope of the Presidents authority.
While it is agreed that the President is empowered to kill those he deems a threat, I have been advised by the Attorney General that actually crucifying them would be construed as cruel and unusual, Armendariz said. Only more covert methods are currently approved.
Armendariz acknowledged the Presidents right to impose whatever restrictions he sees fit. After all, he is our ruler. I have to think, though, that a more demonstrative display of the consequences of opposing the Presidents agenda would be more effective as a deterrent. I mean, crucifixion was a very effective enforcement tool for the Romans. Since their empire lasted a thousand years I wouldnt be so quick to disdain their methods.
EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson further clarified Armendarizs statement, insisting that the crucifixion we had in mind was never a literal duplication of the Roman practice. Bankrupting the businesses and destroying the reputations of those we deem responsible for polluting the environment is as far as we intend to go at this time.

Use RICO laws to investigate the scope of the EPA intimidation and shakedowns. It is now clear that EPA is a criminal enterprise bent on the destruction of liberty and private property ownership.
Crucify him, as an example for the others.
Uh huh, regrets as in, he got caught out.
I was wondering what he “really meant” LOL.
Guys - it’s a satirical article. Don’t take it so seriously.
The only way to fight them is to do everything we can to ensure conservatives are elected at every level and the way we do that is get out there in the community and speak to the naive which is what I do here in New York city becaue the GOP will not.
Not since 1776 did Americans think of themselves as having a ruler...
(Can FReepers be sure you don't moonlight for the NYT?)
No they don’t.
He represents us re: other countries, he signs off on laws pasted by congress, and he is to guide the country as it pertains to the Constitution. But he is not my ruler.
He regrets that his remarks have gone public. He doesn’t regret the philosophy expressed in the remarks, which remains unchanged.
Like a good liberal, he will take full responsibility -— then refuse to step down and accept the consequences.
Followed by a promotion, or a lucrative gig on CNN.
Valerie Jarret told Brokaw that "given the daunting challenges that we face, it's important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one."
.
It was not a satirical article. It was a video. Now pulled from youtube.
Ooops. You are correct. I, on the other hand, am an idiot.
I propose that we form a vigilance committee and that we go over to EPA headquarters and crucify the first five bureaucrats we find and see if that will help them understand our concerns...
Yep, you hooked a couple again!
