“…my philosophy of enforcement… kind of like how the Romans used to … conquer villages in the Mediterranean. They’d go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them. Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years. It’s a deterrent factor.”

First he apologized. Then he said that doesn’t really reflect his approach in his job. Then we asked if he shouldn’t lose his job.

And now, he’s resigned his job...

I hadn’t seen the “crucify them” remark in full context like this.

This guy should never be put in charge of anything again, if that’s his attitude.

“This guy should never be put in charge of anything again, if that’s his attitude.”

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I doubt it was his attitude that got him fired. The current administration doubtless finds his attitude commmendable.

It was for making it public that likely got him fired.

He’ll re-emerge in another position of power, as did Van Jones.

This admin is a career factory (sorta like Oprah) in that they get radicals to say and do things they desire. Then, if/when they are called out for being radical, they get fired so the admin appears to be closer to the middle. The radicals move on (or back) to their communisty organizing with more name-recognition and ‘credibility’ to further the communisty agenda.

His resignation is a good start.

I, for one, will not be satisfied until the baffoon that appointed him to this position is forced to resign.
