Krauthammer: Obama’s ‘narcissism’ won’t allow him to replace Biden with Hillary
The Daily Caller ^ | May 24, 2012 | Jeff Poor

During the Internet broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report Online” Wednesday, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer told viewers why the odds of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton replacing Vice President Joe Biden on the Democrats’ 2012 presidential ticket are very low.

“I’d say that the Indianapolis Colts have a better chance of winning the Super Bowl,” Krauthammer said. “And I have only one reason for saying that, and that is Obama’s — I say this not as a clinician — narcissism.”

“Obama, I think, can never bring himself to do something very large, like this, which would show that he needs the Clintons, particularly Hillary, to win.”

This would ruin any future political plans Hillary has. If she is on the Ticket and he loses on Nov. 6, put a fork in her, she’s done. If he wins and she’s on the Ticket, by 2016, the nation will have Democrat/Obama/Clonton burn out and, she’s done.

She will NOT be on the Ticket. She’s waiting for 2016.

Agreed. At this point I don’t think she would accept VP.

I agree...he only picked Biden because of a perceived need for foreign policy experience. If it works to his advantage, he’d put Attilla the Hun on the ticket. And I believe the narcissist in him would try to put Hillary out there.

Watch the news feeds for hints. Of course, they’ve already been crying for Hillary...but watch the more subtle ones...such as expanded coverage of Hillary (which has been pretty quiet for the moment), increased coverage of Bubba...and less and less coverage of the harridans, Debbie WS and Pelosi..

Scares the crap out of me...unless Mitten’s people are smart enough to defuse it/pre-empt it. So far, they’ve responded pretty well to attacks, etc. But they’ll need more than that to fend off a Clinton in the number 2 spot..

While Biden isn’t particularly liked it would not help Obama much to switch to Hillary as VP. Besides I think Hillary sees her chance as a presidential candidate after Obama likely loses big this November. I still believe there is an outside chance for a draft Hillary movement at the convention if Obama continues to plummet in the polls.

Even though we have never seen any of his transcripts, I think he is smart enough to not want Hillary one heartbeat (his) away from the presidency.

As I’ve said already, he’d have to admit he was wrong. And he’s never wrong.

Only one person in US history has been the losing candidate for Vice President and later has come back and won the Presidency--FDR (V.P. candidate in 1920).

Obama could make a bold bid for the Mormon vote and put Harry Reid on the ticket.

Hillary will never be allowed on the ticket because the budget item for 0bama’s food tasters would become excessive and obvious - the turnover, you know.

Gee, it must be the summer before a presidential election because people are writing about replacing the incumbent VP.

Just like it was written/discussed in past years with Bush/Cheney, Bush/Quayle, Reagan/Bush I, etc. The only time I do not remember this happening was Clinton/Gore.

It ain't gonna happen. But the pundits, political writers, etc really wish it would - just like a brokered Republican convention - because it gives them something juicy to write about.

Nothing to see here...

Not saying it will happen, but replacing Biden would be easy and have no downside for Obama. Obama needed him on 08 for Foreign Policy cred. Now Obama is Pres and is assumed to have it (by the sheeple)

SO here is how it is done.

Obama announces that after a recent health scare, he and Joe have decided it is best for the country if Joe is replaced on the ticket with someone younger and healthier. Joe will continue his public service in the second term as Special Envoy, Sec of State, AG...

If Obama picks Hillary or Holder as his running mate, Either steps down to campaign full time and Biden is named Acting AG/Sec o State. To be confirmed after the election.

If Obama picks someone else - say a Hispanic from the southwest, then Joe can be given a special assignment to focus on (keep him on message) from now until election day. Like Point Man on Iran, or Syria or Egypt... in constant consult with our allies.

She’s waiting for 2016.

Hillary will be 71 in 2016. Seventy one years old. That's older than Reagan was when he ran in 1980. The years haven't been kind to her, either. She already appears older than he did, then. She'll practically be a walking corpse four years from now.

She looks horrible. I’ve seen some pics of her, since ‘08, and I did NOT even recognize her.
