What's His Name just has to avoid big mistakes and he will win. Notice CNN this morning making a big deal of his "flip flop" in changing what he called Obamacare. He started to call it a penalty then switched to calling it a tax. Big deal!

A better way to put it, we are voting to FIRE OBAMA!

Even if Romney is only a fraction of a percent better, we have to stop Obama then work to try to keep Romney in line until a better option comes along. For all we know, Romney will pander to the Right in order to ensure he still has support in 2016 and actually do a halfway decent job.

There’s no doubt that I’m voting against O not for Mitt. I was convinced that Cain could pull it off. Then I was convinced that Newt could win. Then reality set in with Mitt. I forgot how the elitists do “all of the work” of nominating for us.

If you believe the lame stream media then go ahead and buy the flip flop meme. If you had bothered to listened to the interviews of the Romney campaign person who was ASKED (multiple times no less) what the penalty was called in Massachutes for not buying health insurance.... Do you not get that the 5th column wants ( nay NEEDS) O to win?

I am no Romney fan. I also happen to detest this insatiable desire to cannabalize anyone on our side who isn’t perfect. So what if people vote AGAINST O rather than FOR Romney???? The result will be that Romney wins. We need to get out and support conservatives for the House and Senate and as many local and state offices as possible. The laziness that makes people stay home because ‘their guy’ didn’t win has led to this point.

In my small but reliable poll 66% my overwhelmingly conservative readers said they were voting AGAINST Barack Obama and just 24% said they were voting FOR Mitt Romney! The large national polls won’t ask this question but that doesn’t alter the truth.

According to this small but reliable poll, then, 66% of conservative readers would vote for Hillary Clinton simply because she is "anything but Obama". I'm not buying it. People can only squint so much. The actions of Mitt Romney go well beyond my ability to squint. Bush is far more conservative than McCain; McCain is far more conservative than Romney. Bush gave us Justice Roberts ... how far down the slippery slope are people willing to go before this "purity" argument grows tired?

... BUT more to the point, legions of Americans, especially White voters, who just desperately want Obama gone will see “ROMNEY” as the name on the toilet bowl handle that must be pulled down to flush away Barack Obama – America’s foulest mistake.

Ooh, I like that.

The turd in the bowel is Zero, and the handle is Romney.

Except for the LDSers anybody voting for Romney is doing it as an Anti-Obama vote. I live in a battleground state and I have not seen one Romney bumper sticker or sign. I have seen plenty of Anti-Obama bumper stickers.

I’ve been working on campaigns for more than twenty years, and I have never seen a major political candidate that was so hated, even by his own supporters, as Mitt Romney. It’s an astounding thing to observe.

The idea that such a person can defeat an incumbent president, even one as bad as Obama, is not very credible, to put it mildly. Elections are in the end won or lost on voter intensity, no matter how much money has been thrown at it.

But, even in the highly unlikely event that Romney does win, what have these folks who have sacrificed every principle of this free republic to support him won? All they’ve accomplished is to help install a man whose role will be little more than to consolidate the socialist gains of Barack Obama.

Shoot, even Jimmy Carter has said that he would be comfortable with Romney in the White House. There are very good reasons for that.

Fewer than 10% of Americans could actually articulate the Commerce Clause argument against Obamacare's constitutionality and probably even fewer could explain the tax versus penalty distinction. The MSM is grasping at straws. The point is Obamacare was upheld as a tax and Obama and his henchmen are again spinning and lying about it. Most people will get this point.

It doesn't matter what Mitt says. I never supported him for the nomination but now that it's Mitt or Obummer, I will choose Mitt, regardless.

Screw the Ruling Class aresewipes in D.C. I refuse to play their game like a manipulated pawn.

I’ll vote for Goode before I will vote against NerObama by voting Romney. Romney was the Ruling Class chosen nominee. The media and even Obama himself wanted Romney as the GOP nominee since this whole sickening fiasco of a so-called election process began.

And don’t hand me that crap that I’m voting for 4 more years of Obama by voting for the only Conservative running for the Presidency this November - that scare tactic doesn’t fly with me. In fact, it just pisses me off and shuts my ears to ANY argument and appeal to support Romney and by extension - anyone else running in the GOP. It just hardens my resolve.

It is understandable why so few would vote FOR Romney, but it is asinine to me to compromise principle and faith for the vain hope that voting for him will somehow save us from Obama or the consequences that will come for us all as a result of Obama being president in the first place.

I will not practice insanity any longer.

Everyone is putting their effort and hopes into getting rid of Obama by voting Romney as some salvation for us. When exactly did Conservatives accept the idea of monarchy that they too see that the solution is to engage in it?

At best the Marxists will steal this election like they do in Crook County, at worst - the fix is already determined and decided with the Ruling Class all willing accomplices.

I know what time it is - apparently the majority refuses to let their minds even consider it. While the bulk of Americans will favor cognitive dissonance - I will do what is right for my principles and my faith - for which I am held accountable by the Supreme Governor of the Universe.

What that means is, I don’t accept the premise that voting for the Conservative is treason. I have a higher Authority to report to for what I do.

He never did that. Some statements from his staff were ambiguous, but, hey, everyone’s ambiguous about that bizarre decision from Roberts.

I refuse to be ABO.

He has a name. It’s Mitt Romney. I had other candidates early but when it came down to Romney or Santorum, I was for Romney.

Why?

Because I want to win this election and get rid of Obama.

Romney is a better man to do it than Santorum would have been.

Have courage, people.

Stop saying you will only vote for ABO and if you decide to vote for Romney, you will have to run full blast into a wall to punish yourself like a house elf.

Be for Romney. I dare you. Say it!

Conservative “expert” purists have to recognize people are voting AGAINST Obama not FOR Romney

I'll believe that as soon as I see an official vote tally that includes "Against Obama" in it.

A vote for Romney is a vote for Romney. That's how it shows up in the count. So why not just admit it? The verbal and mental gymnastics we see on this site from conservatives trying to convince themselves otherwise could be avoided.

Voting for Romney? Do what you gotta do. But don't try to convince us that he's any sort of conservative or that you aren't selling conservatism up the river by doing it. And then go in peace.

Well, the GOP-e has shown they'd rather a Democrat win than support a conservative.

And conservatives say they'd rather a Democrat win than support a Republican establishment candidate.

Sounds like it good to be a Democrat.

I’ve been trying to explain this to folks HERE and other places for a long time now...

As much as Romney sucks as a conservative candidate, and with all his faults, the election is, was and always will be HIS TO LOSE...

WHY? Simple, this election has NOTHING to with the Republican Candidate, this election is a referendum on OBAMA... just like hte 2008 election was like it or not a referendum on BUSH. Just like 2004 was a referendum on BUSh and 2000 was a referendum on Clinton, etc etc etc...

That’s reality folks the Presidential election, is almost ALWAYS a referendum on the person or party who LAST held the office, period. IF its an incumbent election, its a pure referendum on the incumbent.. if its a non incumbent election its a referendum on the party is currently in the white house. That is why Bush Sr won in 1988, but lost in 1992! In 1998 he won as a referendum on Reagan, in 1992, he lost in a referendum on his term.

Does the MSM play favorites, and attempt to manipulate etc etc etc... of course they do, but end of the day presidential elections are simple referendums of the party in POWER. And OBama is going to lose his referendum in a landslide... its not even going to be close folks.

Every single indicator in every single poll I have seen all year, shows that people are going to throw this guy out with prejudice. The biggest challenge to the Republicans this election cycle was ensuring they didn’t put up someone as the candidate who could be painted as scarier than OBama to the typical swing voter, and while you and I may not be crazy about Romney for many many reasons, there is one thing that cannot be denied. There is no way you can paint Romney as unacceptable to the typical swing voter, let alone scarier than another 4 years of Obama.

Obama has ZERO chance of winning this election, in fact he has a popular vote max prior to the supreme court ruling of maybe 42-43%, and that was if he ran a perfect campaign, and his campaign has been like his presidency, absolute romper room. For anyone who enjoys the study of politics and elections, this guys campaign is in a shambles.. sure the MSM is attempting to prop it up, but its a joke. Here you have a sitting president who is going to have the distinction of being the ONLY president in the modern era to end his term with fewer people employed than the day he took office, and what’s he trying ot attack his opponent with? His opponents job record.. REALLY? If you are Obama, the last thing you should be talking about is Job Creation, because your 4 years have created negative net jobs!!! First time ever...

Now with the obamacare thing, I don’t think he can even hit 40% if he does everything perfectly.

Look at the numbers folks, this guy is out BEGGING for money 24/7, and his donors are gone, he’s throwing congressional democrats under the bus and told them, you ain’t getting a dime.. Local politicians are running from him, they know what the MSM doesn’t want to admit, he’s a dead weight.. He’s dragging his party down. THe one thing Dems had hoped for was that folks would focus on OBama and not vent their wrath on the entire party, but the Obamacare decision has just reignited the grass roots and will take the rejection of Obama down the ticket even more than it would have been otherwise... and it was going to be bad even had Obamacare been thrown out.

Obama hasn’t polled over the mid 40s since 6 months into his presidency, and he’s not going to bring that much to the ballot box.

By October anyone who is serious, and not just a partisan hack is going to be talking about WILL the republicans get 60 seats in the senate or not, no one but the most ardent partisan pundit will even be pretending that Obama has a prayer for re-election.

Fight hard, stay positive, don’t get complacent, but the very idea this fool can win re-election is laughable on its face.

In 1980 I voted FOR Reagan first and AGAINST Carter second.

In 1992 I held my nose and voted again for Bush because I grew up in Arkansas and hated Clinton (although by the time he became governor I was in college and he lost in 1980 and by 1982 I was living in TX).

I was livid when Dole got the nomination in 1996 and knew he’d lose.

I was very skeptical of GW in 2000 but HATED Gore (moved to TN in 1990 and he’s an idiot) and knew I had to vote for him in 2004 because Kerry was a doofus. But I didn’t trust him except on the military. I was correct in that his second term was dismal on all fronts.

I frankly don’t remember who I supported in the primary in 2008 but it wasn’t McCain.

And now I have this awful Romney to have to put on a hazmat suit to vote for. I truly fear he’ll be GW’s third and worse term.

I also don’t trust the GOP-e that SCREWED us in 2005 and 2006. Boehner and McConnell are not the leaders we need to STOP this liberal socialism dead.
