And given his business background, he may even take an axe to spending and cut the budget

Given his record and tendency to govern out of political expediency, tax increases, ones Obama could only dream of getting passed, will more likely be Romney's solution to the budget deficit.

If Obama wins, the illegals will be able to vote and you can forget about any Republican winning ever again, even in Texas.

Which means we’d go from the deliberate enactment of socialism to the occasional unintended enactment of socialism. I’d call that uneasy relief.

It's a relief socialism is going to be advanced with your vote and by the Republican party? How odd you believe that.

And, all that wasn't such an uneasy relief in California when Arnold Schwarzenegger enacted a less extreme version of socialism. That wiped out what was left of the Republican party in that state.

Romney, himself, left Republicans with less seats in the Massachusetts legislature than at any time since the civil war.

Romney will gut the Republican party like a fish in his quest for a legacy.

Obama doesn't have the power to do that by his lonesome.

But, why would you expect Romney, of all people, to crackdown on illegals?

Anytime the states try to crack down on illegals, they are thwarted by judges appointed by RINOs like John Roberts.

Don’t worry about it. Romney won’t win.

I’m already calling Romney over Obama, without any VP.

If Romney calls a good VP, he’s got it.

I call Sarah Palin. :D

““Hey, this smells funny!” - THAT kind of funny?”

You mean HAHA funny?

“Henry Hill: You’re a pistol, you’re really funny. You’re really funny.
Tommy DeVito: What do you mean I’m funny?
Henry Hill: It’s funny, you know. It’s a good story, it’s funny, you’re a funny guy.”

After that it goes downhill quick.

As much as I dislike the option, we only have one hand to play right now, so we have to play the hand we're dealt. That said, I think there has been some great ground gained getting (no alliteration intended) real conservatives at the state and legislative levels, and believe that is where we need to continue to focus. Romney will follow the lead of Congress, so we need to seat solid majorities in the house and senate, and continue to pick up more state houses. Just my 2 cents...until taxamageddon at which time I'll owe.

Obama is a narcissistic Leo who is only truly concerned about himself and in a very limited way his two daughters. Anyone else who expects him to be around when he is needed for anything that is not to his benefit will be sadly disappointed. His followers exhibit behavior some like that of the abused wife who continues to love her spouse, regardless of what he does or doesn’t do. But she stays around and continues to Hope he will Change. Obama will never change but one of these days perhaps they will.

It will be far worse than a Eurossocialist state. There will be no super economy (America to Europe) backing it up. And it will be essentially one man(even if he is a figurehead) bringing it on. It will deteriorate into a Soviet style state with most of the designated “enemies of the people” killed or sent to concentrated slave labor slave labor locations. With John Roberts as a Constitutionalist, the out come would be just a continued slide left with some Congressional brakes on it with either Romney or the kenyan elected in November. The turning of the Roberts coat changes the situation radically. I swore i would not vote for Romney and maintained that until I thought through the ramifications of a Kenyan-USSC alliance.
Romney will lead us further and rapidly to the Monster State but there will be continued but diminishing chances to change that. With the kenyan backed up by the Court, the choice is between possibly getting to make choices again and a Communist Dictatorship that will be installed pretty rapidly. Obama/Roberts renders Congress irrelevant. That combination makes further elections and maybe even the one in 3 and a half months also irrelevant.

That pretty much goes unaltered if Romney wins. He will go just as hard for Amnesty as the kenyan and Romney will be more likely to get it past a Republican Congress. Of course, the kenyan doesn't need Congress to do it. He has John Roberts.

Just how do you propose we build up conservative majorities in congress? Our Tea Partiers got to Congress and vote enthusiastically for the Secret Police and secret detention and the means for the whole bolshevik State. The Democrats and the Establishment Republicans vote for socialist programs while the Conservatives vote against them but rush through the tools for Totalism. Once the tools are in place, , unlimited search and detainment and all that, It no longer matters what might be the professed ideology of the incumbents. They are dictators and not answerable to any law or institution.

What is incredible is that every study and poll indicates that the country is getting more conservative. So what do the goofy GOP’ers do?.....Nominate the most liberal Republican candidate since Gerald Ford.
