I know Romney's not a hit with Freepers. Truth be told he was FAR from my first pick as well. BUT...

4 years of Obama or 8 years of Romney .... pretty much a wash to me.

Voting third party will ensure another Obama term. It is unfortunate that so many people are hell bent on handing him another 4 years because of their disdain for Romney.

No sale.

I can't vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, socialized medicine, big-government liberal.

Either one.

The caliber of the candidates just continues to plummet, and the leftist RINOs take your vote for granted. That doesn’t appear to be working.

Still waiting for an answer to the simple mathematical question posted at #26.

Not genuinely surprised there's been no answer yet, mind you... but, still.

Romney did not appoint conservative judges when he was governor, why on earth do you think he would as president?

Yes, you must vote for Mr. Romney.

I agree with everything you said up until that paragraph. I will be voting in what some people think is a Battleground State, but I will be voting against both Obama and Romney. I have a candidate that I will will vote for with pride.

You think it is crucial that Romney gets elected president. I don't. And, I'm not alone in feeling that way. As time goes on, you are going to find more and more people who just don't think it's crucial or even good that Romney gets elected president.

Empirical evidence for why chasing the lessor of two evils will benefit this Nation that has trillions in unfunded liabilities in which the Repubs are too scared to touch (Iron Triangle of government entitlement spending).

Is Romney going to lead the fight in stopping the military from being an OPEN playground of homosexualizd parafilia?

How is Romney going to manage the debt? Will Romney force the Speaker of the House to close shop on K-Street and the vast amounts of earmarks/pay to play schemes?

Will Romney fight for hardcore originalist like Justice Thomas or go moderate like Souter (who might have well been called Ginsburg)?

Will Romney fight total wars or leave are bravest stranded on an island of political correctness like the last five Republican Presidents?

Please don't give me this “perfectionist” crap, I want reason and accountability not pragmatic excuses which is far from asking for perfection.

There is nothing to admit. Either Obama, hopefully with some opposition, or Romney, more likely with less opposition from Congress, will rip this country apart. Their Progressive goals are the same. Only the means and perhaps the speed differ.

If you do not vote for Romney, you are voting for Obama.

That is an ignorant statement.

Not voting for Romney means you are not voting for Romney and that is all it means. Just like not voting for BHO means you are not voting BHO and that is all it means.

Free Republic won't survive another 4 years of Obama.

I heard that crap when Clinton was in office. We're still here.

Hysteria can be treated.

Romney is a detestable RINO...but more than that he is a self centered capitalist. I can live with that for now. You cannot change the letters around in the word capitalist to spell marxist, or communist or radical, Soros puppet hell bent on destroying the American dream...No FReeper, I don't care about his or her sign on date, can convince me that Romney is out to destroy this country the way Choombama/Bill Ayers/Bernadette Dorne/Tony Rezko/Rev. Wright, et.al. is.

Do not vote, or pencil in your uncle Bob, go ahead....you are either a traitor in my eyes or willing to trade a country for your very own ethics...both ways you vote for the current Liar in Chief. A single vote, alive or dead, may keep this POS in command long enough to hand us over to the Caliphate.

Do you really think a space God loving Mormon is going to give this country over to ragheads the way oBizmal is??? GTFO, please!

The target here must be to get the purple lipped prince off the " free reign Executive Order/Czars/Mooselle gets to travel around the globe and I golf daily and bow to mooslims" boondoggles.

This little "I have my principles so I won't vote at all" mentality was cute when I was young and began my professional career but we are talking about a country and not your Home Owner's Association.

I should delete this before hitting post...I normally do...typing this kind of response then deciding to delete normally appeases me, but you know what? WTF? Enough...We have come to a fork in the road and our brakes are out...to the left I see a sign that say "Bridge Out 100 feet". To the right I see a sign that says "Bridge out 2 miles". In 2 miles I can figure out a way to stop the car. It is what it is...

BS...we are now in that position. EVERY vote counts. Every non vote counts. Sell yourself whatever bill you will, but do not push it on others.

Any suggestions on the best method to deal with extortionists? If you give them what they want, they just keep coming back for more.

I would say that it is unfortunate that the GOP would be so hell bent in keeping the conservatives out of the party that they are willing to risk loosing the base.
