[Update; Several other big city mayors re: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Chicago have also jumped on board the gay agenda band wagon, condemning Chick Fil A. I drove some miles yesterday to support CFA by buying gift certificates. Once I arrived in their parking lot - there was no room to park. Why should government officials be outing a private business as anti-gay? (The president of CFA simply answered, "Guilty as charged" when asked if he was opposed to gay marriage)]
After all the atention this has gotten, I decided to eat at Chik-Fil-A for the FIRST TIME ever, a few days ago.
It was 6:30 pm, at the mall food court. Most of the places had no customers...but Chik-Fil-A was busy. The people working there were apologizing about the wait times, etc. I think other people re showing their support, by patronizing them.
BTW, the chicken was good...the potatoes were very good.
The only one in Michigan is north of Detroit. I’m not going all the way over there but I do wish they would open one in Jackson.
Did you know they have fantastic fresh party trays? It's a great way for an office to have take out because theres a little break for the per serving price compared to individual portions
I was just seeing in my mind the billboard with the title of this post on it with those cows. LOL!
CFA is always busy even in the middle of the afternoon, at least the ones here. There are no “slow” times. Haven’t seen even a slight decrease in business since the controversy.
Uhhhhh..... Lickin' Chicken is a phrase refering to a particular sodomite practice.
Try CFA nuggets with honey. That’s good stuff....and their fries are really good as well. They are fast food, but they aren’t “fast food.”
After thinking abt this for awhile, I’ve come to the conclusion that this is another leftist, Mediamatters, white house, gaytard, drummed up “Rush” campaign against Christians...
Nothing more.
The “Gay Card” has become the new “Race Card” in this country.
As a former radio station manager and advertising salesperson, I thought the “Eat Mor Chikin” campaign, with the cows, was one of the great strokes of advertising ever devised, but, this current thing in the news has so increased their business, the might not need to pay for ads anymore.
CFa restaurants are packed to the max with patrons showing their support. I ate there yesterday and the manager was out in the parking lot, directing traffic...it was THAT busy.
Let the activist and the media whine all they want, they are merely invoking the liberals “law of unintended consequences”, and their cause is backfiring on them, big time.
And now that we know those cute little muppets are hard-line democrats, maybe parents will steer their children to more wholesome cartoon fare. The Henson stance makes one raise an eyebrow to the real relationship between “Bert and Ernie”.
Other than being a distraction from obama’s “You didn’t build that” remarks, the protest from the left has no standing in the court of public opinion. If the lefties and gays want to boycott it, fine, that will one place I can dine without having to see them.
The real beef the libs have with CFA seems to be more about where CFA donates its money, than how it feels about marriage. The only real power the gay lobby has, same as Obama, a pro-gay media.
The greed of the left is eclipsed by their hate and intolerance. Their goal is to “convert”, or at least silence, the rest of us so they can finally feel good about themselves.
And even though they’ve succeeded in turning their lifestyle “choice” into a minority rights status, they have not captured the hearts and minds of most Americans.
Their salads are the best. Freshest veggies, and you HAVE to try the “House” dressing. I buy it for dipping sauces for EVERYTHING.
The Deluxe sandwich then add mayo. mmmmmm
The latest Muppets movie was awful. I ordered the DVD on Netflix, but even the children didn’t like it.
