We swung by the Chick Fil A here in Frederick, MD at about 11:05 today. It was already busy. By the time we left, at about 11:40, the place was (as usual) swamped.

I think this whole kerfluffle is going to backfire on the progressives. It would be fine with me if every McDonald's was replaced by a Chick Fil A.

The statement is tolerant, open minded, reasonable, and therefore will be unacceptable to the left.

You can no longer run a business in the communist held areas unless you pledge support to the gay lesbian transgender bisexual queer obamacare islamophile redistributionist liberation movement.

Just wait until the Libtards realize that In & Out Burger prints Bible verses on the bottom of their Soft Drink Cups and on their Paper Wrappers.

What a great response! I wish more businesses, performers, teachers, etc. would follow their example.

I stopped at the one by Walmart yesterday and it was packed, with the drive thru line around the building. If I'm in that part of town later today, I'm going to stop again.

I just realized today that I could support Chick-Fil-A even on days that I can't eat there (like Sunday); when I pulled up to the drive-up window to pick up my spicy chicken sandwich, I asked the cashier if she had any Chick-Fil-A bumper stickers.
She gave me one. It's going on the car the next chance I get.

Posted on their Facebook page yesterday:

Hey Fans. Another rumor related to Chick-fil-A that is currently in the media is related to the Jim Henson Kid's Meal prizes. We want to set the facts straight. Chick-fil-A made the choice to voluntarily withdraw the Jim Henson Kid's Meal puppets for potential safety concerns for our customers on Thursday, July 19. On July 20, Chick-fil-A was notified of the Jim Henson Company's decision to no longer partner with us on future endeavors.

For example, we believe that closing on Sundays, operating debt-free and devoting a percentage of our profits back to our communities are what make us a stronger company and Chick-fil-A family.

Why you evil hate filled intolerant people that is just so, just so.. Oh crap. That is all good stuff.. No what and I going to do!

Chick Fil-A protestors ought to look into the fact that cows are used in their tv commercials to the exclusion of bulls so obviously they are sexist and deserve to be bullcotted.

I think he should invite communities who would welcome business like his and the jobs he has to offer to let him know and he will have his pick of places to go where the people will support him. He doesn’t need to serve areas where he isn’t appreciated. I wish we had one around here - I’d support them with my lunch money even though I don’t usually eat chicken out, just to support their right to free speech. This could be the best thing that ever happened to his business. When traveling, I will always go to Chick-Fil-A now because of this.
