The republicans have been demonized daily in newspapers, television, radio, magazines way before Obama, now they outright lie for him. When the republicans begin to publicly and aggressively speak out about the media bias, only then can we defeat the enemy. Remember the SC Debates with Gingrich when he outed the media?

Do you think Romney, who signed into law the nation's first PERMANENT state ban on "assault rifles" would be any better defender of our rights that Obama ?

Even George Soros admitted there wasn't a lick of difference between Obama and Romney.

Obama is not going to pay for what he is doing, we are. We already are paying with the loss of American lives in the Middle East.

The only way to end the circular firing squads that dominate the Republican party is take back control of the party from the media. We should never allow the media to run another Republican debate. The debates should be run by organizations or schools, like the Heritage Foundation and Hillsdale College. It would avoid giving an opening for attacking each other and force the Democrats to do all the attack ads, themselves.

Second, we do need a decent spokesperson, who has a sense of humor but can also take a firm position on issues. We haven’t had one for a long time.

I have news for you. People (Sean Hannity, Marco Rubio) who want amnesty for illegal aliens are not my allies.

The GOP has historically barely tolerated the conservatives within its ranks. They’re ashamed of the “nutjobs” who go on and on about God and abortion and homosexuals. I’ve had enough. If you don’t care about any of those issues, the GOP might be for you.

When you see something NOT worth “bashing” from those gutless cowards, let me know.

What we have got are opinions; and what we have not got are facts:

We lost the election due to rigid concepts over religion so Romney s faith kept voters home.

Romney lost because he is a liberal. Not because of his faith.

Romney lost because people figured out that voting is easier than working.

The Election was the biggest Fraud in my lifetime

“RACISSM!”

Romney lost because of hsi gun grabber pro-homosexual marriage liberal justice appointing past and massiove vote fraud by Obama.

The big drop off in Republican voters that lost us the last two presidential elections

Romney pissed-off too many Conservatives with his flood of negative attacks during the primaries.

this was actually a very tight election, and bodes well for future Republican victories

conservatives lost the election in the Republican primaries

It's socialism more than Race

Racism, you know

we lost by a combo of single issue voters who refused to look at the whole picture; union efforts; voter fraud; the work of the MSM; low information O worshipers, and lack of unity amongst republicans.

Romney lost because he couldn’t win over voters, not because of religion.

Well that pretty much covers the waterfront. Ever since election night I have been calling on FReepers to hold their fire until we know exactly what happened. If we want to lose the next election let us blunder on ignorant and fixed in our own opinion so that we will be doomed to lose the next election just as shockingly as the last.

Newt Gingrich is the only man so far that I know of who has commented intelligently on the debacle.

What are you? A Mormon?

Romney sucked in every way as a candidate and while he played full contact in the primaries he went all mamby pamby on Obama.

In fact, he was so bad he was a drag down ticket making us lose what should have been a slam dunk for gaining a majority in the Senate and a super majority in The House.

His religion was moot for most and those who stayed home saw him for what he is.

A self serving jackass, who bled the field dry so he ascend to the White House.

But who knew how much support Barry was going to get, as an incumbent, selling his cap product

Yeah, only Romney’s product sucked to and the packaging did as well.

So people stayed home and I nearly wrote in my own choice. It was only at the last minute that I voted for that Jack Wagon.

While I appreciate your points, it had ZERO to do with Romney’s faith. It had to do with the GOP elite, yet again, nominating a feckless, flip-flopping, spineless, idiot.

We are getting close to that point where you can’t both be a Conservative and a Republican. Me? I choose Conservative.

We lost the election due to rigid concepts over religion so Romney s faith kept voters home.

I'm sure that was the excuse many used, but I'd be surprised if that was the majority reason.

Romney has several records by which to judge him and predict what he'd do in office.

While I came to believe in the quality of his basic humanity and that he's probably a much better human than I am, while I believe he would have turned much of our economic mess around, I was equally sure he'd advance progressive causes almost as well as the demonrats will.

As most rinos do, a President Romney would:

a) improve the economic mess the demonrats made,
b) create several new powerful and answerable to no one alphabet agencies, then
c) lose to the demonrats in 4 or 8 years, who would
d) immediately turn the now improved and even bigger and more powerful FED against us.

Check the record. This is the cycle the "two" parties have used against us and there was no reason to believe otherwise about Romney.

Besides, he sucked as a candidate unless he was campaigning against conservatives. I'm surprised he did as well as he did.

Single-thought, low-information vanities suck.

This could have easily been a comment on any number of existing threads, and I will leave aside the thought that your premise is completely flawed, to begin with.

We lost the election because the moochers, looters and inner city tribal parasites outnumber the producers. You can’t beat Santa Claus. And after 0bama grants citizenship to all the criminal invaders who will all vote dim, there will never be another Republican POTUS.

First, Obama will NOT pay for what he’s doing to America.

WE WILL.

Second, are you asking me to forget that I’m a CONSERVATIVE and become a Republican?

No.

I will not.

What the country REALLY needs is a re-institution of Hanging for Treason.....I’m sure at least half of Washington D.C.’s current crop of “Authorities” would qualify, today.....

Though some who should have voted stayed home, the fact is that it was all the people with government employment (and all their families), most all the people getting welfare & unemployment (and their families), those on food stamps, Obama phones and the kids lied to that voted college tuition that caused the bulk of this mess.

I know a lot of so-called normal people who voted for obama. They’re going to pay, along with the rest of us, when the death panels kick in.

I keep praying for divine intervention. What goes around eventually comes around. You’re right. He will pay for what he’s done to this country. I’m leaving it in God’s hands. He’ll come through for us.

What “allies”? The Republicans like Ryan who merely want to spend $14 trillion instead of $15 trillion? Who want to make the military, and by extension, the federal government bloated and powerful?

I have no allies in Washington. Maybe Rand Paul, but it’s too early to tell.

It was the first election I really started accepting that we have massive voter fraud and ballot manipulation. Either that, or we have lost our American soul from ignorance and foreign ideologies that have overwhelmed the concepts of individual liberty and consent of the governed that have made us unique among nations.

If the electoral process is gone, then so is the vehicle for consent. If government won’t stay within the limitations imposed upon it by Constitutional delegation and the rule of law, then gone is individual liberty.

“We lost the election due to rigid concepts over religion so Romney s faith kept voters home. “

I disagree. We lost the election because a large number of people in this country are against the values that made this country great.
