Hispanic playing of loud music
Myself ^ | Moonshinner

Posted on 01/20/2013 5:17:41 PM PST by moonshinner_09

I just wanted to ask you freeper's.. Some new hispanics moved in my neighbourhood 3 months ago. It is a man, wife, son 22 years old, daugher 9 years old. Their son likes to smoke weed and drinks beer sitting in his driveway in his suv. He smokes the weed in a way, it is hard to capture him on film doing it. He sits in his driveway next to my driveway and he has his music turned up in his suv as loud as it can be made to go up.My whole house shakes, rattles, it's boom, boom, boom. The other home owners are Hispanic they do not say anything. Their landlord spoke with the family 10 times about this loud music, for about 4 days the boy lays low and starts back every weekend. Tonight during the first football playoff towards end of game, the boy in his driveway had his music is so loud, my pic's were falling off the walls from the rattling of the bass, thump,thump.thump.I called the police, stuck my phone outdoors and the officers, could hear it, it sounds as loud as an out door concert. She took down the information in about 10 minutes after the call the boy turned it off he went inside and turned out all the lights they get up early. I just wanted to ask, since the police heard the music on the phone, but showing up it will have stopped, will the police still show up knock on their door and advise them, there have complaints of loud music, coming from their resdient or drive on by since he has since shut it off ?

Thank you all for your help. This is not made up and there is nothing funny about living next door to hisapnics who are selfish, self centered and only care about themselves. The first thing this guy asked me when he moved in is, how are the cops around here. I did everything to welcome these people here, I helped them out, I even mowed their grass for them until they got a lawn mower. The problem is , his 22 year old son is a drunk , he smokes weed, he plays his music wide opened and he does not work. I told them early on to please keep it down, they kept it up, I said be glad I do not call the police.Their words not mine, what because we are Mexicans you think we are afarid of the police, I said this is between you and the police. They started disrespecting me, my home, my yard. I am sorry I have a bigger yard than he does, he rents a small yard, he is not coming over to help pay my house note.I am buying, he is renting. It’s very typical for hisapnics in Houston to park on the grass and this includes neighbours yards.I was only looking for some ideas not world war 3. I thank you all for each post and your insight.

Turnabout is fair play. In this case, play the most un-macho music you can find, loudly, in a vehicle right next to his SUV.

Justin Bieber, Menudo, Barbra Streisand, ABBA, etc., punctuated with really annoying novelty music like, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”, and ‘The Chipmunks’ singing anything.

How about Barney?

Actually I would like to find the song I heard over the PA one day while eating fast food. It was some woman singing and the best way I can describe it was “A cat stuck in a printer.”

“Continued: The city codes say no parking on grass and they have 2 cars aparked on the grass. The man rents rooms to other hispanics & I know some are illegal.”

I live in western Connecticut, in a small city that has been invaded by illegals.

My neighborhood has changed completely in the last 15 years. A few years’ back, the house next to me was converted into an illegal hotel. Yard paved over, cars parked everywhere.

I’ll tell it to you straight, and you’re not going to like my answer, but you have two choices (and only two):
1. Get used to it, or,
2. Move.

It ain’t goin’ back to the way it was — trust me on that one. Once they move in, your only real option (if you want to be around others like yourself) is to move OUT.

Expect it to get worse in the next four years, considering who’s in charge...

Well you need to position some speakers where the music will be unavoidable in their driveway (and home) and crank up some Hank Williams. Senior!

This is how I handle it. I have had many Mexicans living next door for the last 11 years.

When they smoke pot in the open, I walk up to them and quickly take a picture. That has always put a stop to it. I have taken the pictures to the cops.

If they confront me, I point to my chin and tell them they have the first shot. They have never taken me up on it.

I like loud music, music nobody else does. After the wife is off to work and the kid is in school, I can take a nap listening to wall shaking Deep Purple’s Child in Time. Stevie Ray Von’s Little Wing, ACDC’s Thunder, and Ted Nugent’s White Buffalo.

Mexicans just don’t have the sound systems we Americans have.

Get a diesel truck. Let it idol and stink up the area. Ten minutes should do it. Rev it up a few times too.

"Call the cops on him for DWI!"

Great idea! Cops love DWI action more than they love shooting dogs.

I live in central Fla.. The police used to come out for loud noise and tell the people to knock it off but now want the caller to fill out a police report. I do not believe holding the phone outside for them to hear will convince them of anything. They generally have to drive up and hear the noise in person. Over the years this neighborhood has grown to have a lot of Mexicans playing wild jamboree music at all hours with no regard for the neighbors even though it is generally a quiet neighborhood overall. One Mexican family had a father who sat in his car at night drunk singing to loud music and at 6am every morning someone would drive up and honk their horn for their daughter. The father had no job and worked on vehicles all day. Car alarms went off all the time and they let them go on and on and on. The husband beat the wife up and she left him and they ripped out breakers from the breaker box and punched holes in the walls. When they first moved in they had about 20 cars all over the place partying with calypso music. I filled out a lot of complaint forms on them. More Mexican families have moved in here who party down and have no concern about those around them. When they ride by in their cars, the music is very loud. I think the police got so many complaints they don’t want to be called out just to tell someone to knock it off so they are now requesting the caller fill out a police report.

That’s right. Race doesn’t matter at all. It’s the volume of the music that is the issue.

I recall a particular Memorial Day Weekend when the blacks next door (or rather, the boyfriend non-resident) was playing rap music (which I hate) so loud that it was indeed rattling stuff in my house from the base. I was unable to enjoy MY holiday weekend at that point. So I popped my head over the fence (standing on a chair) and politely asked the guy if he could turn it down a bit, due to the rattling of my dishes inside. He turned it down for about 20 minutes but next thing I knew, it was back up even louder. So much for courtesy, consideration and civility. Soooo...I took my sterio speakers out onto the patio, turned them towards the neighbors’ yard and blasted country and western music (which I hate) as loud as I could. I think he/they got the hint. Their music came down to a reasonable volume after that.

I live in the Dallas area and this is what I was told to do. Next time you call the cops have them come to see you and explain that you want to sign a citation for the loud music or whatever is going on. Having the cops come out and just warn them will do nothing...but if it is loud enough for a citation to be written then you sign it and you can appear in court in front of the judge and tell your side. Show up with as much detailed documentation as you can. It was a monetary fine for the offender in my situation but it was large enough that he got the message. We haven’t had any problems since.

This is also a good article and helped me.

strange... the commenters at the end of that article at the link you provided must be racists too... LOL. Odd how it seems Mexicans are “singled out”... Personally, I can not stand that Mexican polka crap that they play non-stop. It sounds like a God Damned Mexican circus came to town.
