The mere fact that we don’t KNOW what the military will do speaks volumes. And the DHS, SSA, NOAA, etc. doing the job, are there enough people available to search every home, every apartment, every business in the country? Not in any reasonable time frame to prevent “shuffling” weapons around.
I know that Elmer Fudd and his regime have no regard for our freedoms and they will create another crisis, if need be, to strip us of all our freedoms. There is only safety in groups. Pitched battles can’t be kept secret; individual firefights can.
It won’t be the MILITARY, boys and girls—it’ll be our Obamaneighbors and friends in HOMELAND “security” that do the deed.
It will be bangitybang bang bang using all that “homeland secure” ammo they have been buying lately. As in enough to fight the war in Afganistan for THIRTY YEARS.

That’s what I’m thinking. hussein said in 2008 he wanted a domestic army. Looks like he is turning DHS into it. I think as soon as they think DHS has enough of the bullets, drones, and APCs they have on order, they’ll pull a few stunts to cause massive civil unrest. Then hussein will be reluctantly “forced” to take drastic actions like Marshall law, firearms confiscation, suspension of other rights. Who knows, maybe as much as restricting interstate travel, stopping elections, making it illegal to gather in public, shutting down the internet (gotta control the flow of information like every other dictator), etc etc. I used to think these things couldn’t happen here. Now I think there is a very real, non-zero chance they not only could, but will because those in power want them to happen.
Obama cannot understand the principles that are the United States of America. He was not raised here. He sees governments and governing from the perspective of someone who grew up in a Third World country. He looks on this country as just something for him to control and rule. Obama is no different than any Third World Despot; he wants no checks and balances, he just wants to rule by decree.
He sees gun control as a threat to his continued reign. Arms in the hands of citizens will be the only barrier to his imposition of totalitarianism and the genocide of all who oppose him.

False - there may have been a few voluntary turn-overs - many were not.
Many confiscations gave no receipt for the firearms.
The NRA won a court case over the city of New Orleans on this very subject. It is in the public record.
Your assertion that these confiscations were all voluntary (save the one episode seen by many on tape) is laughable.

I have thought about that and implemented my solution.
I verified the sighting of the scopes, cleaned and oiled them well and put them up.
As a competitive IPSC handgunner I long ago learned the benefits of dry firing, and visualization (read The Miracle Of Sports Psychology by Bennett Pravitz, if you can find a copy (is out of print)).
The point is, stop burning up the ammo and use your mind for practice, from the scenario to the sight picture to the squeeze and let off.

Oh, how I've long hoped that would happen. But, seeing how Clinton started the feminization and emasculation of the military (continued by obama), I'm not so sure any more. It certainly won't originate with the metrosexual generals and admirals; it'll have to start with the colonels.
You forget other videos of people holding AR15s where it is clear (and quiet and polite) they will kill the badged looters if confiscation is attempted. They were left alone.

You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.
Orders for the U.S. Military to confiscate guns in America will mean the crisis has been reached.. I hope that before it gets to that point drug-addled Obama is forced to understand that the military has taken sides and it ain't on his side.
