Poll at the Denver Post on the proposed Magazine Ban.

There is a poll at the Denver Post on the proposed magazine ban. It is about 1/3 the way down on the right hand side.

Be careful about the questions. The first response is "for" to overturn the ban.

The Denver comPost waited until the poll got down to 53% then closed it. Your thread effectively documents their manipulative behavior. Thanks!

Hi there. Probably 1st and last post on your forum. Ran across it during a search. Looks like the poll is still going. But has suddenly gotten close. ?????? Here it is:

It’s worse than that! Something looked funny, and due to a lack of desire to sleep, I started tracking. Basically someone has hacked it and are adding an average of 26 votes per minute to the “keep the ban” column. And this is with it no longer being on the front page. I have screen shots and a nice Excel SS if anyone wants to see. If they don’t stop it by 06:00 Colorado time it should be around ~29,000.

Total Votes = 10393

Yes. They are ignoring a large segment of the electorate.
9296 Votes, or 89.44 %

No. This is the will of the voters who elected them to office.
955 Votes, or 9.188 %

Unsure. I’m waiting to see what actually becomes law.
142 Votes, or 1.366 %

You must have a good deal more technical expertise than I do. Feel free to post your evidence, it will be welcomed here. I don’t know that anything would embarrass the propagandists at the Denver comPost but it’s still good to document what they are doing. Or not doing. Thanks for adding to the discussion.

Hickenlooper also referred to other bills the Democratic-controlled legislature has passed this session, including civil unions for same-sex couples and in-state tuition for illegal immigrant students.

"Each of these bills is about community in some way," he said. "This is an effort to build a better community in Colorado."
