MoveOn.org has started a petition to get ESPN reporter Chris Broussard immediately suspended from the network for comments he made regarding Jason Collins's homosexuality, which Broussard said was a sin according to his personal Christian beliefs. The group said Broussard was engaging in "gay bashing."
The petition reads:
Chris Broussard's hateful attack on Jason Collins for being gay was an unacceptable misrepresentation of the Christian faith. ESPN must immediately suspend Chris Broussard and guarantee that their network will never again be used for gay bashing.
In its "petition background" statement, the left-wing organization says that after Jason Collins "emphasized the importance of his Christian faith in accepting himself and deciding to come out," ESPN's Broussard "attacked" Collins.
"Shockingly, so far ESPN is standing by Broussard, describing his tirade as 'a respectful discussion of personal viewpoints,'" they write....

if one can say positive things about gays, one can say critical things abput them too.
nobody is guaranteed freedom from criticism. gays have no problem criticising this guy. look at their statements compared to what this guy said. he was mild, the gays are screaming fruity banshees. he didn’t say the gay player must be fired. gays demand he must be fired.
the more i see the idiots, perverts, and god-haters demanding things, the more i believe we are close to God coming back and taking those that are His out of here, and letting these people really get their wish. they will find out what an awesome world it is when the christians are gone.
