On Wednesday congressional hearings on Benghazi will be revived, with much ado about whistle blowers, and dissenting testimony, but to what end? The story concocted by The Administration and The State Department is a swiss cheese-like artifice that would never hold up in an era of true journalism. However, though the ruse did not completely cover up the mistakes of Benghazi, the left hopes it will hold together long enough to protect Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
Expect the left to circle the wagons around the two top players. At this point they will be willing to toss any underling under the bus. The media will be itching to spin the most implausible thread of Clinton/Obama blamelessness into an almost heroic attempt by their idols to get to the bottom of the many mistakes made in Libya. Dems will misdirect, answer their own questions, interrupt witnesses, and to a person decry the politically motivated hearings.
There will be a significant line of questioning from the majority party into the Susan Rice talking points. It has been well documented that Ambassador Rices comments were false and based upon an intentionally inaccurate account of the attack. As the Republicans delve into who is responsible for Rices Sunday morning show assault on veracity, watch for Dems to tip their hand. To the left nothing can come back to Obama or be allowed to tarnish Hillarys 2016 presidential anointment. So who will the left nominate to take the fall? My candidate for the latest Obama bus fodder is State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.
Another line of questioning will explore the military and security inaction in advance and during the attack. Dems will read from the somewhat discredited Accountability Review Board report like a gospel. Someone from The Pentagon will have to take the blame in order to keep the Obama blameless narrative alive. Is Nuland and a low level security or military officer a big enough sacrifice to the truth for Obama? Well have to wait and see. If the Dems close ranks tightly and lock arms with their media friends it just might be.
I’ve been thinking the same thing. She was ‘in charge’ at the time, IIRC.
Wasn’t Hillary out of the country ?
Wasn’t Patrick Kennedy also out of the country ?
Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
Mad barely scratches the surface. Here’s my ‘bit’ - I was actually at a casino today and engaged in conversation with the dealer who I know is conservative. We had the whole table engaged in this discussion, I’m sure it’s not what they were looking for on a Tuesday afternoon, too bad!
Word spread and other dealers started buzzing about this very serious event.
I’ve said it over and over and will say it again: I hope those 4 men haunt the daylights out of barry/shillary and every other evil freak involved in this lie.
"Will the MSM sanction open murder by the President and Federal government?"
Things will get real exciting if they do.
Jibs with what Russ said.
She has worked for both Democrats and Republicans. Therefore she is no a “true believer.” As such, she is a prime candidate to be tossed under the bus by the Democrats/MSM.
Victoria who?The question asked in Filegate was, Who hired Craig Livingstone? - and the Clinton Administration wouldnt even specify who fired Craig Livingstone, such was the toxic nature of the charges against him.But to ask who hired Craig Livingstone is to take your eye off the ball - the fact that nobody else was credited with hiring him meant that the only acceptable answer to the question was and is, It happened on Bill Clintons watch.
If anything of the sort happened under a Republican president, Conspiracy Journalism would have no difficulty in identifying the source of the problem!
Each of us has made another list. Enraged because of the Stand Down and Where are our People that survived! Be Proud to be on this list.
But know about Christi’s lap dance, opps lap bands...Levin led off his show segments with a two sentence announcement.
