Makes me think of the day after my Daddy died. A close friend of my parents stopped by their house and dropped off a couple of grocery bags holding several packages of toilet paper. She knew there would be a lot of people coming and going, and it was one item that most folks just don't think about until it runs out. She said SHE learned that when her husband died, and she DID run out of TP!

He will.., He’s using business associates of Ron’s to help me with this mess. I don’t doubt it for a minute, even though I get scared, God IS with me.

My DIL is a Coupon Queen. A frugal shopper of the highest degree , she offered today to help plan a meal for after Church. We’re going lo-budget. Ha!

Oh yeah... She’s doing a fantastic job!!!

I love these kids of mine. The girls and their families will be here Saturday.

I went through one of his desk drawers tonight looking for the things I’ll need immediately. He was always organized to the point of being .., overboard. It was sad, he must have been hiding his health problems for awhile as it was a mess. It (filing system) just didn’t have a rhyme or reason.

I told the kids I need to take a picture for you. Then I looked around and started laughing because at the moment, there’s NO CLEAN SPACE! LOL!

An active 3 year old and a crawling toddler and 3 adults with paperwork leaves much mess. :). A blessed mess. A loving mess.

The baby...he crawls to the pantry. Stands on tippy-toes, opens the pantry. Takes stuff out, puts them on floor, puts them back, closes the door. Rinse. Repeat. Funny....!!!

He takes his face, opens his mouth and SMOOSHES it against the window and moves it back & forth.

Daddy practice law for over fifty years. Did more than his share of estates
One of his favorite stories the widow goes to her husband’s desk and pulled out several envelopes filled with cash. As she explains to her friend she explains there was one for the priest, one for the funeral home, one for the stone. She then held out her hand to the friend showing a bright new shiny ring and stated “He was SO generous with the stone!”

Spoke with BG today as my wife and I are planning to make the drive to be with her on Sunday. We kind of feel like we are able to represent those that are far away.

We visited on the phone while I was on an errand so we didn’t talk as long as I would have liked. I understand one or two others from FR are planning to be there as well. If so, look us up.

I’ve been reading your reports BG. You are handling things very well. You’ll get through this with help from your family. Have kept you in prayer as we have been at our annual camp meeting all week. Wishing I could be there for you, but you know that I am there in spirit and here in prayer.

Just wondering why your church is not providing the meal for your family. Around here, if you go to church, when someone in your family passes, the church ladies all bring covered dishes and lay out a huge meal for the family and friends, (and fortunately, most of the time the family invites the pastor, for which I am thankful, and my waistline testifies).
