Eric Holder: White people have a duty to retreat

In the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict, Eric Holder addressed the NAACP. During his speech he denounced "stand your ground" laws.

"There has always been a legal defense for using deadly force if — and the 'if' is important — if no safe retreat is available. But we must examine laws that take this further by eliminating the common sense and age-old requirement that people who feel threatened have a duty to retreat, outside their home, if they can do so safely.

By allowing — and perhaps encouraging — violent situations to escalate in public — such laws undermine public safety. The list of resulting tragedies is long and, unfortunately, has victimized too many who are innocent.

"It is our collective obligation. We must 'stand our ground' to ensure that our laws reduce violence and take a hard look at laws that contribute to more violence than they prevent."

Let us not delude ourselves- he means "white people have a duty to retreat." And, of course, white Hispanics.

Never mind that at least 21 states have "Stand your ground" laws.

Never mind that "Stand your ground" laws disproportionately favor minorities.

Never mind that Illinois has a "No duty to retreat law" and Barack Obama voted for it.

What Holder says is that should you find yourself outside your home and you see assailants entering your home where your spouse and kids are, you need to retreat.

And what he really means is white people must retreat. And Roderick Scott is why.

Scott said on April 4, he was sleeping on the couch, because he and his girlfriend had a disagreement. In the early morning he awoke and heard voices. He looked out the front door to see what was going on outside.

He testified he saw three individuals who were in his driveway, saw them walk out and cross the street, then walk up to a neighbor’s vehicle, pulling on the latch and handles of the neighbor’s truck. He then went upstairs, told his girlfriend Tracy that someone was breaking into a vehicle, and told her to call 911. He grabbed his pistol, for which he has a permit, “to protect myself” then went outside.

Scott said his intent was “to stop or detain the criminals,” not to shoot anyone. He walked down the driveway and over to 39 Baneberry Way. He saw one person standing on a sidewalk, and some rummaging going on inside a vehicle, which had the dome light on.

At that point, Scott testified he pulled his handgun out of the holster, and chambered a round. “I wanted to protect myself and I intended to,” Scott said.

He walked toward the individual, who started to walk away toward Manitou Road. He did not tell that individual to stop. It’s believed that individual was Brian Hopkins.

At this point, Scott was a foot or so off the sidewalk, and he saw someone rustling around inside the vehicle at 39 Baneberry. He testified he clearly saw two individuals. He drew his pistol and assumed the a shooter’s stance. “I didn’t know what I was up against, or if they were armed,” Scott said.

He told the individuals to stop, that his girlfriend had called 911, and that he had a gun. The individuals stopped, and a few seconds passed. Scott says the teens were talking, then one of them ran around the front of the truck. The other ran down the driveway toward him, screaming. Scott warned him he had a gun, then shot him.

He assumed the boy may have been armed.

“I felt if he got to me he would try to kill me or hurt me,” Scott testified.

After the shooting, Scott said Cervini, who was running at him, kept running, passed by him, and fell face-first onto the ground.

This is an Attorney General of the United States who is occupied primarily with what he calls "my people."

So tell me, Mr. Witholder, why did Barack Obomba support a stand your ground law when he was a state senator?

It is still prudent to avoid, evade, and escape threatening situations. But if worst comes to worst and there’s no other option, stand your ground protects you from the state second guessing you. Maybe you could have screamed, maybe you could have run faster, maybe you could have gotten down on your knees and begged. They can always come up with a scenario where you didn’t HAVE to shoot - and charge you.

And this was happening all the time. THAT’s why stand your ground laws were enacted. To protect citizens from the state.

Totally. I really have witnessed this culture difference, watching the NC general assembly the last week.

It is chilling to me the things progressives will do and say against God, America and goodness.

But then again, it really isn’t a surprise, because we are told all about it in the Word.

I'm convinced Holder is trying to incite violence by making these outlandish racial attacks on whites and hoping to create an event where violence can be pinned on the "White" race. In so doing he and Obama can declare Martial law and then truly destroy what remains of this country.

Next will be an attack on our Faith and criminalizing it because of our "non-tolerant" beliefs.

I never ever thought that I would live to see these events unfold like this in this once great country.

The rule of retreat would mean that Trayvon Martin would have broken the law, since he clearly has an avenue of retreat to his father’s girlfriend’s son’s townhouse. As it is, “Stand your ground,” meaning you do not have to avail yourself of an avenue of retreat if one is available, did not apply in Zimmerman’s case, since no avenue of retreat was available. Also as it is, there was insufficient evidence to convict George Zimmerman of murder or of manslaughter, and there would be insufficient evidence to convict Trayvon Martin of aggravated assault if a neighbor had come out of an apartment with a baseball bat and stopped the fight prior to the shooting. We just do not know, beyond a reasonable doubt, what happened prior to the shooting.

The Left have invented a new crime: “Walking in the direction of a black person while white (or ‘white-hispanic’)”.

The penalty is an ass-whooping and up to 30 years in prison.

The “Zimmerman should have stayed in his truck” crowd are all for it.

Notice also that the issues they most vehemently support and push in our faces are those that are clearly the most offensive to God - homosexuality, child sacrifice - I’m surprised they haven’t gone for bestiality.

I think they think they are only “getting” us, but the basis for their desire to “get” us is their rebellion to God’s Law.

Someone needs to photoshoop Mr. Holder's face on this picture of McCarthy.

Duty to retreat is the operative principle of anyone encountering thug culture. Thugs own the streets. Their actions are to be permitted with extreme passivity in all circumstances. According to the AG it is the responsible of all victims of violent crime to cower, retreat, and otherwise accede to the authority of the gangster in all circumstances. This insures that violence against citizens always secures compliance. We are to be submissive and obsequious especially when confronted by violent attackers. These are precisely the rules of engagement enforced by violent slave owners against their slaves. Holder’s frame of reference when confronted by violent attackers is to grovel before the feet of the master and beg his forgiveness. Holder is our master. We are his obsequious slaves. This is the racial dialogue he has required of us.

Again, I agree with you. I am really beginning to understand who these people are.

I used to be a liberal, and have tried to minister to them. I am currently struggling with the idea of HOW much do we feed them, if they are starving?

How much do we defend ourselves against them? How much do we turn the other check?

How much do we try to educate them and when do we give up trying?

George Zimmerman was identified as a”Whit-Hispanic”.Does this mean he only has to”retreat”half-way?Does the same apply to, OBOZO?After all,if Zimmerman is a”White-Hispanic”,doesn’t that make OBOZO a”White-Black”???

Don’t bother with LIB pin-heads...be they coworkers, family or... It is a complete waste of your energy. Take your energy into your survival and in resisting the LIB infestation of civilization. LIBs should be seen for the subhuman termites they are...always destroying civilizations and people. Let them rot and fend for themselves. This is going to be messy. Be emotionally prepared for what you will witness and what you will have to do.

A duty to retreat? Pretty difficult to do when one has been cold cocked in the nose and is on his back being straddled and assaulted MMA style.

A change of ideology requires a change of assumptions, and that requires a change of heart in the rebellious.

The best thing you can do is point out that their assumptions are based in Humanism - that man is the ultimate source of truth.

Liberalism is the political expression of the religion of Humanism, which began with, and continues to believe the lie “you will be as gods, knowing good and evil”, ie, you will define truth for yourself.

Hey Eric, I’ll never “retreat” from my own house with some dirt bag threatening me or my family.

Idiot.

I have done that. My wife gets dismayed because other than work or kid event I don’t leave the house to go and socialize with anyone nor do I invite anyone over. I don’t talk to people at work and not even church much anymore. I have just utter contempt for stupid people who facilitate in destroying this country.

I used to be quite gregarious back in the day, not anymore.

“Retreat?

No, Reload!”

The only time I retreat is when I’m reloading.
