Gov't Gone Wild! Obama Donors Get HUGE Contracts For Obamacare (Serco and CGI Lead)
Confounded Interest ^ | 10/20/2013 | Anthony B. Sanders

Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said that President Obama is “frustrated” by snags in the Obamacare rollout.

But how about American citizens who either are having trouble enrolling in Obamacare or are suffering from the shock of rising healthcare insurance premiums AND the size of their deductibles?

The anecdotal stories of “sticker shock” are legion (for example, here is a story from New Jersey). And physicians in New York are howling as well.

Of course, there are many winners in the Obamacare rollout. Some households will receive added benefits and healthcare benefits that they previously didn’t have. But the biggest winners are … government cronies and contractors.

Here is a list of contractors that received over $1 million in Obamacare contracts.

The Urban Institute?

CGI, the contractor for the disastrous Obamacare website, was number two in contract size at $93.7 million. Despite the fact that a Canada province fired CGI after it missed three years of deadlines and failed to deliver the province’s flagship online medical registry.

Sunlight Foundation published a list of contractors and their lobbying efforts. contractors10-10-13.

The biggest contributor to the Obama campaign was University of California at $1,630,827, but they only received a contract for $12,000.00. That is an investment ratio of 0.01. CGI, on the other hand, contributed $22,205 to the Obama campaign but received a contract for $93,700,000. That is an investment ratio of 4,219.77!

Seriously, CGI was awarded $93.7 million to build the U.S. government’s federally-facilitated health insurance exchange … and all we got was a disaster?

I’m surprised Initech from the movie Office Space wasn’t on the list.

Damn, it’s good to be a government crony!

It’s worth repeating this fact here:

Toni Townes-Whitley, Senior Vice President at CGI Federal for Civilian Agency programs, is Princeton Class of 1985-—same dumbed-down class as Michelle Obama. Both are members of Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

I am proud to observe that the Federal contracting company I am affiliated with is not in that list.

NBC News mentioned that the Bush administration used CGI , so it’s Bush’s fault.

Where does a university get money to donate to politicians? Never mind.

It’s so obvious the money that is being stolen from the taxpayers. Yet at least half the people in this country would vote for Obama again. And I’m not letting the republicans off the hook either. They’re all cashing in.
