When Bob Dylan sang When youve got nothing youve got nothing to lose he could hardly have imagined how true his words would ring almost fifty years later.
Being against national photo ID cards was something the Right and the Left agreed on for privacy reasons. There was good reason to be against such cards in the past; but today they are a concern as meaningless as worrying about where to place a new telephone booth.
After five years of the reign of King Barack during which he has used every agency in his control to spy on everyone in the country, there is nothing, not a blessed thing, the United States government doesnt know about every one of us. Nobody can deny this fact, and this takes us back to the question of...

if a wetback doesn’t have to show an ID to vote, I don’t have to show a cop a national ID card when I get pulled over.
No worries, no one will have to have proper ID to vote anyway.
Ihre papiere, bitte is German for show me your papers.
Wonder how to say it in ebonics - the language of the dork?
If obamacare isn’t stopped, I can see where you will need your obamacare card to do anything or go anywhere, need a bank account, you must submit your obamacard, need to register a car, obamacard, to enter Disneyworld where’s your obamacard, and on and on...
You have to show an ID to enter a court house, to board an airplane for domestic travel, to write a check, to cash a check, to enter a bar (even well above age 21), to use a credit card at some establishments, etc.
Never have I heard that this is unfair towards to the poor and elderly.
Still waiting for Obama to release his papers (school writings, GPA, transcripts, selective service, immigration to Indonesia, student loans, etc.).
The Obama card will be required for all health care access. Then it will be linked and used as an EBT card for those requiring EBT assistance. It will start with EBT users because they are easy to scoop up with the card and get them used to using it all the time.
Then it will be used as a national ID card with personal data stored on the card and it will be required for transactions such as getting on a plane, purchasing guns, ammo, etc., and maybe even voting (to appease the Right).
Then the card will be linked to most of our personal data in the way that Amazon.com currently store each and every purchase you made from them — ever.
Ultimately, this card will be required for everything and a physical card will be too cumbersome so it will be on your smart-phone or whatever device, but this too will be too unwieldy so you will be tattooed or implanted with some transmitter that will be required to buy and sell anything — at all. And, by the way, did anyone ever mention that this device will also be able to track your every movement?
Yep, it's coming, and it's no longer the stuff of fanciful black helicopter paranoia types.
“if a wetback doesnt have to show an ID to vote, I dont have to show a cop a national ID card when I get pulled over.”
Well freaking put!!!
One more step toward mark of the beast.
Reminds me of this:
Revelation 13:16-18
Then it compels all, small and great, rich and poor, free men and slaves, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads. The purpose of this is that no one should be able to buy or sell unless he bears the mark of the name of the animal or the number of its name. Understanding is needed here: let every thinking man calculate the number of the animal. It is the number of a man, and its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
id is not a national/federal/issue.
it is a state issue. because you are a citizen of the state you live in, and that state sets the id laws for that state.
at a time we want to decrease the power and size and scope of fedgov, you don’t then give another power of the states to them.
Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose,
Nothin’ don’t mean nothin’, honey, if it ain’t free.
I love all the quotes by liberal dope fiends on this thread.
LOL
The first thing this President and Congress will do is issue these IDs to illegals
>> to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads
Better to carve swastikas in the foreheads of the oppressors.
During much of the 1960s and 1970s I did fine without ID of any kind.
I preferred not having a driver’s license for driving, and didn’t need it for employment or apartments or when going to Mexico.
A good alternative to a national ID card is a very secure biometric *private* ID card, maintained by a large and trusted entity that does not do business with the government, ever.
It has just the opposite philosophy of a government issued card, which tries to be “inclusive” of everyone the government wants issued cards, even foreign citizens, al Queda terrorists, issuing fake cards to police and spies, and hundreds of cards to the POTUS, whoever.
That is, it is totally “exclusive”, a word that government hates and fears, because it is out of their control. It must be ridiculously hard to fake, and the card and its user are verified every time it is used.
The purpose of this exercise is to lock out all the scoundrels, criminals, police, spies, foreign citizens, al-Qaeda and the POTUS from ever getting a card. And unless they have a card, you don’t do business with them.
There’s the rub. You do not have to deal with anyone who has *some* ID. You can require a particular ID. And if they can’t get it, they can go get knotted.
When we could have used a National ID it was nixed because of the most obvious reasons. Now that 40 million illegals have unilaterally decided our laws don’t mean anything, there is no longer any point in having a national id. It would just be used to legalize millions more flooding our borders. Remember the illegals will be taking gov positions asap local state and federal.
