Yes, it's That Time Of Year again.
In my neverending quest for Awesome Christmas Music I turn to my fellow FReepers for suggestions.
In exchange, here's a link to 25 Days of Free Christmas Music from Amazon.
Ante up, you tightwads.
I have over a thousand Christmas songs. What do I listen to the most?
* Glen Campbell - That Christmas Feeling (my Best in Show)
* Frank Sinatra - The Christmas Collection
* Dean Martin - Seasons Greetings
* Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song
Other than those and a few other albums, I have play lists that suit my mood. There are a lot of rare, cool songs out there that you can find. Elvis is great, but he just doesn’t do Christmas for me like Glen Campbell.
Beatles - Rockin’ Round the Christmas Tree...Bing and Bowie doing Little Drummer Boy...Roger Whittaker - the 12 Days of Christmas...anything Perry Como or Bing Crosby...Anything Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson...lots of good Leann Rimes and Faith Hill...Anything Vince Guaraldi...Mannheim Steamroller if you’re in the mood for that...Even fun stuff like Beach Boys and Partridge Family...even Snoopy and the Red Baron!

Kinks - Father Christmas
Here’s a good cute one “Somebody Stole My Santa Claus Suit” Done by the Christmas Jug Band, there’s a somewhat long intro.

All you need is the snow and fireplace.
You probably wouldn’t like mine, they’re all demented and novelty songs. But what’s the season without “Christmas in Jail” - a song with a message:

Oh, yeah....Pentatonix. This sucker’s gone mega-viral. Why? Because it’s so fracking GOOD!
(Doesn’t matter that two of the members of the group ping the ol’ gaydar rather hard...they’re still WICKED talented. I could listen to them all day. Kevin the beat-box guy is a master, and Avi (the bass) hits sub-basement vocal levels with ease. And the girl, Kirsten....VERY easy on the eyes.)
kind of leaves you all warm and fuzzy, huh?
like doin a selfie at mandelas memorial
