I have what is called by Obama a Cadillac Plan. Rates for 2014 won’t be going up and I’ll keep paying my 20% of the cost of the policy.
I expect next year my employer will ‘dumb the plan’ down in order to keep from paying a 40% tax on the 80% they pay now.
ObamaCare does not benefit the majority, but no serious person expected that to happen.
ObamaCare does not save money for the majority, but no serious person could have expected to cover more people, with more mandatory coverages, with the young subsidizing their older and wealthier neighbors and that costs would go down.
ObamaCare does not even help those currently without insurance, although that is the one tiny corner of this massive power grab that some low-information voters might reasonably have believed. Instead of being denied medical care when needed (something that is currently illegal), these people will now be sent to their in-network provider, who will likely be so overloaded that the care will often be delayed until it is no longer needed. The poorest among us will get worse care, although they will have a little card with a policy number claiming they have insurance. At least they will have "free" birth control.
Who wins? Only those in power who want more power and those crony capitalists with the connections to profit off of all the money flowing through a monstrosity that used to be the world's greatest medical system.

This is a classic case of projection by the writer. Don't ever assume someone has common sense...always wait until they prove it to you. I'd rather assume someone who I was dealing with was a bleeding moron instead of making a mistake in judgement assuming someone could think critically. A: To ensure that all previous health insuance policies could not be “grandfathered” in, and would have to be cancelled, and thus the policy holders would have to buy an Obamacare policy.
