A new video released by the Ted Cruz Victory Committee launches a new campaign to raise fund for the 2014 midterm elections.
The dramatic video features a montage of Cruz speeches together with Images of the Tea Party, the Constitution and the Gadsden flag.
"We need no more Washington solutions," Cruz says in the ad. "We need to go back to the American people."
Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
I wish him much success . . . ala Contract with America style or something to get a full sweep in both 2014 and then in 2016. And then DO IT when they get in office.
I admit I fell for the Perot campaign in 1992. Young and foolish and politically naive at the time. Never again will I throw away my vote on third party.
The Legal Limit: The Obama Administration's Attempts to Expand Federal Power -- Report No. 2: Obamacare "The Administrations Lawless Acts on Obamacare and Continued Court Challenges to Obamacare / By U.S. Senator Ted Cruz...
People who support the TEA Party ideals are roughly the same percentage of people who supported Ronald Reagan.
TEA Party ideals follow closely to the ideals written into the Republican Party Platform, which establishment Republicans hate and work hard to marginalize.
I would challenge anyone to download a copy of the Platform and check it against TEA Party ideals.
Our problem is that we don't yet fully realize how much truth we really own.
Some people in KY may think McConnell is RP but whoever they are they are not enough because he is getting his butt kicked in the recent polls there by Bevins.
I just told the RNC I was a member of the Tea Party. It felt good!
He’s got a winner there... thanks for posting this Cincinatus’ Wife.
There is only one party truly. Whether you voted for Perot or Bush the Elder at the time matters not, your life and the country would not be better off even if Slick Willie had been defeated in 1992.
Bush the Elder would have brought all the things we see now. Clinton got elected but wasn’t able to do much because Newt Gingrich and the republicans were able to stop a lot of what he was doing wrong.
So your vote for a third party was not wasted. It was inconsequential.
And voting for Romney would have been worse. Because Romney would have brought all the things Obama is bringing but at a higher level of competency which would make it more difficult to unwind in later Congresses and he would control the party.
This is all ruling class wealth up against the masses. They fear the TP because they can’t control it and make it bend to their will. Talk of a third party to them is of no consequence because as long as their picks in the democrat party or the republican party get elected, they get what they want.
When dem organizations are corrupt they twist things to favor democrats. If they say something nice about Democrats it’s probably NOT that good. If they say something good about Republicans the truth is probably much better...
Great video, hope he runs and doesn’t tease us.
So why do you bother commenting here? Are America's trials and tribulations a spectator sport to you?
British historian Paul Johnson, in the preface to his wonderful A History of the American People, says this and it fills me with longing. We deserve more Ted Cruz's.
I have not bowed to current academic nostrums about nomenclature or accepted the fly-blown philacteries of Political Correctness. So I do not acknowledge the existence of hyphenated Americans, or Native Americans or any other qualified kind. They are all Americans to me: black, white, red, brown, yellow, thrown together by fate in that swirling maelstrom of history which has produced the most remarkable people the world has ever seen. I love them and salute them, and this is their story.
Hey, don’t you know, Mitch just voted against cloture on the Ryan anti-Vet confiscation deal. He must be one of us now, right? Bob
He will get the vet protection as a campaign bonus chip and then vote for cloture.
But it won’t matter, because people know these McConnell types cut hard to the right during elections and then swing back to the left once elected. I am sure Bevins will be all over that in the case of McConnell.
The Latino vote is not of consequence yet. The 2012 election confirmed that. The votes were only about 8% Latino and not enough to overcome the Reagan democrats and Perot blue collars that refused to vote for Romney. This is confirmed by post-election analysis of the demographics.
The women vote is indeed an issue. Women will vote for the person that makes them feel secure. Women who have husbands and sons who are conservative generally are conservative themselves. But many of the single women are needing to understand how the Tea Party benefits them. And this needs work.
A hugely influential voting bloc are women that work in medical clinics or in the periphery of medical services. They know first hand the deep flaws in Obamacare. They were happy and stable in their careers before Obamacare. As Obamacare continues to implode, many of these women will experience the fallout which will be reductions in force, layoffs, falloffs in business.
The Tea Party has made great inroads to these women and should continue to do so. The TP does not even need to offer a replacement for Obamacare, they just need to beat the drum to defund it and eventually repeal it.
Why did you respond with that kind of nonsense? There is no call for a third party in this video. It's a great video, simply asking for a return to the principles that made America great. If the Republicans don't use it in 2014, it's their problem and they are fools.
Let’s hope that Bevins trounces this establishment fraud!
