Self-righteous Tinseltown windbag Harvey Weinstein (Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction) is at it with the liberal causes again, but on this issue he lacks credibility like no other: the producer (of some of the most incredibly violent films to ever hit the screen) says he's got an anti-gun film currently in production (starring fellow moonbat Meryl Streep)
-and the NRA "wish they weren't alive after I'm done with them"-
Mr Weinstein -for whom self-awareness/shame is clearly not a strong suit-
went on to say he's "gonna take the issue head-on", and "I don't think we need guns in this country"- with the ultimate aim is nothing less than destruction of the private arms industry (!). He made it clear the goal is for moviegoers to leave the theater thinking, "Gun stocks- I dont want to be involved in that stuff. Its going to be like crash and burn...."
In the interview with Howard Stern -himself an anti-gun nut- Weinstein had earlier stated it was OK to use a gun when "they're marching a half-million people to Auschwitz"... but even the sympathetic shock-jock felt obligated to point-out the Nazis had taken all the guns (via the exact type of gun control Weinstein is proposing in America today). To this, Weinstein repsonded "I would find a gun, if that's what was happening to my people"- uh, Harvey... real life isn't like a Tarantino flick, where's there's always another loaded gun laying around!
Now constitutionally-aware, thinking people are responding to the Miramax
co-founder's over-the-top threats, and asking some questions...
like Senator Ted Cruz, ferinstance...
- "The great thing is the market will take care of this- because these left-wing propaganda films that people like Weinstein put out- they never sell any tickets. So if he wants to lose some money, preaching..."
- "The hypocrisy of a rich Hollywood producer that lives in a fancy neighborhood, with all sorts of police protection. And he says he 'doesn't own a gun', but I'll bet he's got armed security around him..."
- "His answer is, for the single mom -who lives in the inner city, who has to ride the subway at night, who works two jobs- and who has a real threat of violence... he's telling her she can't protect herself."
- "It's the same pattern we see in Washington, it's a double standard: it's 'One Rule for Thee, One Rule for Me'... liberals love to live by special rules... but they want different rules for hard-working Americans..."
- "They're very happy to try to control the American people: you see the elites on both coasts, they look down on this country... they look down on their constituents as rubes, and they don't listen..."

Sure he is, I’ve heard him go on about how it’s OK for HIM to have a gun- but he wants strict gun control on everybody else!
Unlike a lot of people, he comes right on out and says it- and Stern is a huge pumper of Bloomberg’s anti gun efforts too

That was my first reaction, too. Never heard Howard go on about guns. Robin, on the other hand ...

Sure he is, Ive heard him go on about how its OK for HIM to have a gun- but he wants strict gun control on everybody else! Hmm .. you may be right: I've not been a regular listener since he jumped the shark (Jackie leaving the show, divorcing Alison, going uncensored on satellite), but from what I have heard, he's fairly much gone Hollywood and now pals around with lefty nitwits that he used to rip to shreds on his show.
Howard used to be much more libertarian: he actually made a partially serious run for NY governor on the LP ticket back in the '90s. He quit when he was told he'd have to disclose his finances ...

Maybe he could start his vendetta against gun and gun owners by giving back all the millions upon millions upon millions he’s made making movies glorifying guns.
If he and all his Hollywood buddies gave that money to the government we’d be on our way to paying for all these welfare programs they cackle on about needing.
Put you money where your mouth is, Harv. Money where the mouth is...

Quentin Tarantino and Harvey are nothing Less Than A Couple Of Leftist,OBONGO A$$-Ki$$ING A$$H*LE HypoCrites! Now,would you like to know how I REALLY Feel?

Let him make the film and spend millions doing it; the public won’t bother paying their hard earned money to see this drivel. The film will be like those Michel Moore “masterpieces” that only liberal loons have seen.

Harvey Weinstein is just a fundraiser, doncha know, and what he earns out of the sweat of his brow (brought on by a fevered imagination) is HIS to keep.
Guns are BAD, don’t you watch the films he makes? People get blown away all the time without regard to their moral standing or righteousness, or their devious criminal transgressions. Bullets don’t discriminate.
But the carrier of the weapon DOES. And for that reason, everybody should be thoroughly schooled in the care, use, and upkeep of a personal means of defense, with emphasis on DEFENSE. Using what should be a defensive instrument in an aggressive and unilaterally determined course of action, makes the PERPETRATOR the object of control and retaliatory action, not the weapon.
It is an undisputable fact that an armed police force cannot prevent more than a very small proportion of all crime, that the commission of a crime could be stalled or prevented at the point of the instigation. The police are quite good (or should be) at detecting the course of the commission of the criminal act, and even at tracking down and apprehending the perpetrator. But they cannot, in large measure, prevent the criminal, acting unilaterally and without prior warning of some kind that action is imminent, from carrying out his foul deed.
But if the unilateral assault suddenly becomes bi-lateral, by the perpetrator suddenly finding himself the target of a prospective victim who has just turned the tables around, he is likely to fail, sometimes in a very big way, on the path to ill-gotten gains.
And that, gentle people, is what “stand your ground” really means.

Maybe we should start by banning all fake guns and images of guns in films. Let’s see that gun free world, Harvey.

When did Stern become an anti gun nut? He use to be one of the few in NYC to have a carry permit.

I wonder how many people will joint the NRA as a result of his propaganda film vs. actually paying to see his film?

I’ll tell you what really governs Tarantino and Weinstein?
Black appendage envy.....there I said it.
Both obviously shortchanged
Tarantino wishes he were a cool well endowed black stud like Billy Dee or Issac Hayes
Ain’t no amount of blackface gonna do that for you son
Or he wishes he were a gangster...lol....his nickname would have to be bug or shaky
Weinsteins wife is gorgeous..
But how must it feel with Noriega’s long lost Hebrew brother having his dog food ugly way with her?
Hope the money is worth it to her....
I detest Quentin and Harvey
They epitomize the rot in our entertainment culture
Exploit and destroy.....
Y’all can have them
And to think Tarantino is from Knoxville
And pineapple fat boy...yes he’s lost some weight.....declaring about Auschwitz...” if that was happening to my people”
Good lord you dumb shite
It was your people idiot......that were slaughtered.....some never learn
