“Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Al Gore is full of crap.”
I changed the last line a little bit. They call that “Artistic License”.

I am 66 and this is the coldest winter I remember seeing.
In the middle of Texas, we had snow, but not more than 4” at any one time.
We need the moisture.
All this freeky weather is related to coming out of a very long and deep sunspot minimum and having a increase in activity and then dropping back to a false floor. Weather is more variable during sunspot minimums and maximums.

There is not a fixed length of a sunspot cycle. Anyone who tells you there is not informed or simply lying. 11? 14? 17? nonsense
But Climate Scientists have no problem with lying. That is a proven fact.

Thanks Goodness we live in a shovel-ready nation.
Folks out West may need them to fill sand bags this week-end.

49 / 50 - every state except Florida has snowcover.

I remember back in 1977 or 1978 when the entire continental US was covered with clouds for thirty days. Of course, there was massive snow those years.

Yes, tell my son’s mare. She has been really suffering in the 10 degree weather. Even under the shelter of the barn.

***In the middle of Texas, we had snow, but not more than 4 at any one time.**
Do you remember January 1962 when there was a cold front that dropped the temp to 19 below zero and froze everything from Carlsbad NM to Arkansas? It is still the record low in Carlsbad. We were there then and it was COLD!

We rarely get snow that sticks here in the Willamette Valley (OR). But this is the most snow we've seen in the last 16 years. Measured a foot on our deck, & it's still coming down!
