In BO's defense, I would not want every single thing that I've ever said to be recorded for posterity, AND be expected to have instant recall of every turn of phrase, going back for years and years.

I will never forget the first time I heard someone lie to make themselves look better. I was in my 30’s and, although I knew people lied, I naively believed that they would not do so if someone that knew the truth could hear them. My department supervisor did just that in order to make herself look good. I remember standing there amazed, but too taken aback to correct her. That was over thirty years ago and I can remember it like it was yesterday. It was an eyeopening experience!
