‘Killer cops aren’t welcome here!’ Officer Who Murdered Kelly Thomas, Driven Out Of Restaurant
Political Blind Spot ^ | February 12, 2014 | Pbspot admin

One of the police officers who infamously murdered Kelly Thomas, was recently spotted at a Southern California Denny’s restaurant. Customers instantly recognized the killer cop as Manuel Ramos, who was recorded on surveillance video beating unarmed Kelly Thomas to death, as he screamed for help.

As Ramos tried to chug his drink before leaving the restaurant, customers yelled. “Killer cops aren’t welcome here.” . Last month, Ramos and his partner Jay Cicinelli were found “not guilty” of murder, even though the homeless, mentally ill man offered no resistance to their brutal assault.

Ramos showed no mercy to Kelly Thomas when he begged for his life. Now Ramos is hopefully starting to realize that he will be shown little mercy from the public.

Following the verdict in the murder case that Ramos and his partner faced, public protests began erupting in California and throughout the country. Last Saturday saw the biggest turn out yet, with a crowd of 300 reported by Los Angeles media outlets, for a Hollywood demonstration against the killing of Thomas and the acquittal of the officers involved.

KEEP THE PRESSURE ON these killer cops, and their departments. SPREAD THE WORD and get out there to show your support at JUSTICE FOR KELLY THOMAS rallies in your area!

The customers are now deciding who the restaurant serves?

We are constantly reminded even here on FR that our gun rights are to protect us from tyrants.

Oh, yeah?...

This is why we need cops, and why cops need us.

The barbarians are at the gates, and Institutional Police are alienating the only people who could help them: The law abiding middle class.

But Mr. Law Enforcement. You have lost us. You are on your own. Good luck when the SHTF.

The restaurant served him, apparently. He just chose not to stick around and eat his meal in that “hostile environment”.

” The jury (if there was one) should be publicly shamed and shunned as well!!!! Who in the heck could come up with that verdict????????? “

Jury intimidation perhaps....

Glad to see the customers using their 1st amendment rights to shame the guy out of the restaurant...

Good for the citizens to exercise their 1st amendment rights!

“This is why we need cops, and why cops need us.”

Oddly enough, they weren’t considered a need by the Founding Fathers.....

Thomas Kelly beat down

I honestly do not believe there is enough seen in this video to know what went down fully. That being said one would assume that the number of police involved could have subdued the man easier than apparently was done. Why were only the 2 officers charged?

Bottom line, I could not convict based on this video alone. First I never see the police out an out swinging for the hills, nor do I see what kinds of resistance Thomas Kelly was providing. Very tough case in my opinion if all I have to go by is this video. The only other testimony available would be the police themselves which would have to be taken with a huge grain of salt. I wish there was a video of the entire act. Absent that I think if I were sitting on that jury I would have to find the police officers not guilty as well. After all, a guilty verdict should be based upon the mantra "without a shadow of doubt" which this video does not provide me.

Flame away. I have my fire retardant suit on.

If my memory is working correctly, there were a lot of eyewitnesses watching this from a bus stop nearby.

“How could this guy allow his son to live on the streets?”

Kelly Thomas was an adult who was mentally ill. There is very little legally that a parent can do once their child hits age 18. They can no longer force him to take his medication. They can’t institutionalize him unless he is homicidal or suicidal and that is only for a short 72 hour evaluation. They can’t chain him inside their home. “Your son had issues and you knew it”.. the family did know he was ill but from previous articles that I read.. their hands were bound. What is very sad is I’m sure the family may have felt that their son would have eventually died on the streets but not being beaten to death by the police.
