"Fecklessness has its rewards!" Why Barack Obama will be the next UN Secretary-General
one man's opinion...

Two dates to mark on the calendar:

Obama's term ends on Jan 20, 2017.

The recent news that Obama is about to cede control of the Internet to "the world community," a.k.a Russia, Red China, Iran, Syria, and the rest of the gang, initially was a head-scratcher. Why? It makes no sense in that it will piss-off a lot of Democrats and likely make their re-election chances even harder.

However, that was soon followed by the AHA!! moment. It DOES in fact make sense, a lot of sense.

It's long been obvious that Obama just LOVES campaigning; he's just not that into, well, governing. He does however have one more campaign left. He's running to be the next Secretary-General of the United Nations.

And it is absolutely the perfect fit for both Obama and the UN.

What does the Secretary-General actually do? Pretty much nothing. Gives some speeches, chairs a few meetings, attends lots of receptions, dinners, and parties. Flies around the world a lot.

The job comes with lots of perks, including a five-story town house on Sutton Place, lots of staffers, limos, security, and a practically unlimited budget. There's nothing to, well....govern. The UN Charter does not list any specific duties or responsibilities in that regard. No pesky rules or regulations, like a Constitution, to be concerned with. In short, it's perfect for Obama.

And let's not forget all those great golf courses in the NY metropolitan area.

The UN Charter provides that the SG shall be appointed by the General Assembly upon recommendation of the Security Council. As the five permanent members of the council have veto powers, Obama has to get the approval of Russia, and Red China, and bingo, he's in.

Historically, the job of SG went to an individual from a neutral, or third-world country, as during the cold war, the USA and USSR would veto anyone from the opposite side.

And if there are any murmurs of opposition to Obama, well, look for Barry to 'fess up that he's really Kenyan after all, and thus a proud, bona-fide "third-worlder."

The UN is becoming more and more irrelevant. Right now, the SG has less impact, less importance, than a Cabinet "deputy assistant undersecretary for whatever"...I'd wager that 95% of American's couldn't name the current SG. (go ahead..can you? See!!...)

A Republican President, with a GOP controlled Congress, might well move to cut the huge US contribution to the UN budget, which would really, REALLY mess things up over at Turtle Bay.

Obama, as SG, would, in a flash, turn things around, and put the UN on the front page. Imagine Barack and Michelle, ensconced in NYC, to the adulation of an adoring MSM. The UN might even be able to get its long planned expansion plans off the ground..(and in the process, build Obama a big new fancy office from which he could survey the world!)

So all he has to do is get the votes of Russia and Red China. The US, Britain, and France will vote for him. Let's face it, a President Lyndon LaRouche, let alone a President Rand Paul, wouldn't dare oppose Obama for SG.

So, if we now view all of Obama's policies and decisions in the light of attempting to curry favor with the Russians and Red Chinese, well..it all starts to make sense.

* Allow Red China's massive military buildup to go unopposed. Instead, pull back US forces in the Pacific and reduce our ability to project power. "Carriers? We don't need no stinkin' carriers." Obama's allowing the Chicoms to dominate the region.

*Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Georgia, Ukraine. I mean, could Putin ask for anything more? Obama's letting him have it all.

*Obama's economic and environmental policies are badly hurting the US economy, while allowing China to to continue massive economic expansion ( and it's accompanying pollution) Russia will continue to have a market for its energy exports to western Europe, and the political power that comes with the ability to turn off the valves, and/or jack up prices, at will.

*And now were's handing control of the Internet over to whom?....yup..the bad guys.

Just a few examples..there are sadly...many, many more.

Obama told Putin that he'd have more "flexibility to act" after the election. Yup!

Go ahead. Ask yourself why would the Russians and Chicoms oppose Obama as the next UN Secretary General? He's giving them all they ask for now. It couldn't be any better for them!

And as for Obama, it's the perfect fit....it's the ideal job for him. He's too young to retire to Hawaii, and play golf 24/7. Teach law? Lecture? Nah....F'sure he can't be a "senior statesman" for the Democrats..by he time he leaves office the Dems will be in the electoral wasteland, having lost control of the White House, Congress, not no mention most state governments. He will have succeeded, wildly so, in "fundamentally transforming"...the Democrat party. Democrats will soon look upon Jimmy Carter fondly by comparison.

Simply put, there's no room for Obama and Slick Willy on the same stage. What's Barry gonna do...another "global initiative"? Nope.

But Obama does have a monstrous ego, laced with narcissism, that needs a stage, a platform, an outlet. Remember the "Greek pillars? The vow to make the "oceans obey his commands?"

Where better than at the UN, "ruling the world." And what's even better yet, the UN Charter does NOT impose any limits on the number of terms the SG can serve.

OFA could easily be transformed into Obama For Always

And don't forget, he's already got one Nobel Peace Prize. Nobody's ever gotten two of them. After all, a guy's gotta have some goals in life...

Obama would have to revoke his citizenship for this to happen. My guess is that Obama would lose his SS protection and pension (For life) if citizenship was forfeited.

There is nothing in the UN Charter that won’t allow an American to be the SG..it’s just the Cold War convention..

Sounds like the perfect time to get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

I've been saying this all along. Doesn't matter if he's not eligible to be Secretary-General. He's not eligible to be U.S. pResident, yet here we are.

Do you actually think they would do that? It would be racist to pull the pension of the first president of the United States, regardless of the rules. Besides, I think the Clintons were the last president and first lady to receive SS protection upon leaving office.

That's easy. By custom, the Secretary General always assumes the name "Boutros Boutros Ghali."

It makes things easier for everyone.

January 21, 2017, President Cruz signs Executive Order 0001, withdrawing USA monetary support from the UN.

Executive Order 0002, gives the UN 24 hours to get all of their delegates out of our building and withdraws all diplomatic immunity from all UN delegates.

Executive Order 0003, is a call to the Attorney General, Trey Gowdy, to begin grand jury proceedings against eric holder, k. sebilius, all of the former cabinet heads, all of the emanuel brothers, sisters, cousins and housekeepers, al sharpton, jessejamesjackson, the CEO's from comcast, abcnbccbsnyslimeswapousatoday,GE, and other CEOs to be determined in secret.

President Cruz then gives russia 24 hours to get the hell out of Poland, Ukaraine, Germany, France and the caucasus, or we will nuke moscow in 24 hours, one minute.

True is traditional and not “written in stone” but any 4 of the permanent members (With veto power) plus other temporary members of the current Security Council would be foolish to propose a candidate to the General Assembly that is a member of the “5”. This would be the epitome of “Non-sequiturism” due to the permanent powerful status in the first place (Of the individual from the 5), hence the reason for the tradition.
