With that being said, I may have responded to one of your posts by saying that if the SHTF, folks will likely turn a blind eye considering they've got their jobs, their mortgages, their payments on their boats and their new Ford Trucks.

If they've got time to spend away from their kid's weekend little league or soccer game, they just might join you............

What constitutes SHTF varies from person to person. After the market crash of 2008, and the collapse of my income, I wound up living on stored and foraged food for almost 2 years.

Of course, I own my property outright, and don't have a mortgage, a new boat or a new truck.
