Unaccompanied minors risk life for American dream

San Pedro Sula, Honduras (CNN) -- Tossed in a truck, robbed. Dumped at a house. Held for ransom. The 14-year-old traveled alone by bus from his home in Honduras, through Guatemala, into Mexico, where his dream of reaching the United States was cut short by a band of criminals. Nehemias said his family was forced to pay $2,000 for his release. He had nowhere to go. "I turned myself over to (Mexican) immigration authorities. I didn't have any more money. They took all the money. They took everything I had," he told CNN in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Dressed in jeans and a black T-shirt, the teen spoke softly. "I was told (by the kidnappers) that if I ever came back, the fine would double -- that it was dangerous -- and I wouldn't make it back to my home country," he said. While the Obama administration is focused on unaccompanied minors who make it to U.S. soil, Nehemias -- one of dozens of children Mexican authorities sent back to Honduras this week -- represents another, larger, problem. 'I want to be with my mother' Thousands of children never make it as far as the United States. This year alone, 4,500 unaccompanied minors from Honduras have already been detained in Mexico and deported, according to the Honduran Institute for Children and Families, or IHNFA. They end up here, at an IHNFA facility in San Pedro Sula, Honduras' most violent city. The processing center is surrounded by a 6- or 7-foot cinder block fence topped with rings of barbed wire. The children arrive by bus and, once inside, wait for family members to claim them. Only legal guardians with proper documentation can cross the fort-like fence and walk out with a child.

I believe much of this is from the parents sending money home and telling their kids this is the best time for you come to and you will not be sent back.It's now or never.. A recent United Nations report that interviewed 400 young immigrants points to a difficult and complicated web of reasons, including violence, poverty and the desire to reunite with their parents or other family members...Using this logic would this mean every minor except for Mexico can travel to America and be allowed to remain here..What happens when europe,asia middle east start sending their children here ?

Very tiny, tiny violins here. I don’t care what they suffered in getting here. They are invaders as far as I am concerned.

Hell you can’t get a toddler to walk 100 yards without getting distracted. They damn sure didn’t walk a thousand miles.

There is dream fever for foreign youths to come because Obama has made the door wide open. Obama has opened the borders and put out the invitation.

And here they come to flood away the USA with illegal votes.

God help us!

They are not coming for the American Dream. They are coming for handouts and free stuff. I guess that is the new American Dream.

Hate to tell them that having a house, car, and a good paying job is way out of reach ... even for Americans.

Keep calling your senators and reps. Overload their phones. I called Sensenbrenner’s office yesterday and some knucklehead said - oh we’re working on the Judicial Committee for comprehensive immigration reform. I blew up at him, asking what are they doing TODAY about the illegal INVASION of every human debris trotting across out borders? Dead silence.

I said, why bother passing ANY laws, as the ones currently ON the books are ignored by zippy. I told him he is to uphold our constitution that is to protect us from INVASION.

I told Sensenbrenner and my Senator Ron Johnson the same:
NEVER amnesty OR Citizenship OR the right to vote by anyone who broke into our country, broke our laws. NEVER, EVER. Send them back.

I am sickened by this. Also told him I was delighted that Cantor was defeated. And asked him why Bonehead is silent, while zippy golfs.

arghhhhhhhh. Has anyone else called? What response have you received?

DEPORTED

Why don’t we just copy “sensitive” Mexico in their “humanitarian” program ???

How did young children w/out food or water or adult
supervision travel thousands of miles through treacherous
jungles and drug cartel territory?

How did they know the way to the US border?

“The Governor of a State shall call up the States’ National Guard if He/She declares a State of Emergency.” [TEXAS Manual of Common Sense Law].

Currently, there is no Federal “Dream” Law allowing for the physical invasion of Illegal Alien “Children” Invaders from Mexico - - - only the “Executive Order” edicts of a demented Obama that no State Governor has yet had the courage to challenge.

The failure of the Feds to repel the Illegal Alien Invaders should in no way deter the States bordering Mexico from physically repelling these Illegal Alien Invaders by any means necessary, including Concertina Wire Barriers, Flash-bang and tear gas canisters launched by mortars as far into Mexico as possible by heavily armed, State National Guard Troops.

Federal Border Laws are not being enforced, at the order of a Demented Obama, and thus The States along the Southern Border must enforce the Federal and State Border Laws that Obama chooses to not obey.

Since Obama has no Constitutional basis for his actions, let him try to enforce his lawless “Executive Orders.”

As with the First Civil War: STATES RIGHTS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR!

Obama factotum, DHS Secy Jeh Johnson, told reporters that the federal government would do what was in the “best interest” of unaccompanied alien children swarming across the border. He also denied that the taxpayer-funded care being provided to them was serving as an incentive to Central American families to send more of their children. But a closer look at the US govt services being provided tells a different story.....

Better yet, taxpayers demand our tax-paid public servants like Johnson and the Congress do something in "our" best interests.

=============================================

The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers asserted: "This is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans by her political leaders that knowingly puts minor illegal alien children at risk for purely political purposes."

==============================================

Vote crazed Democrats---desperate over losing seats in 2014---are conniving to get taxpayers to buy them these illegal votes----the Dummycrats are requesting $2 billion tax dollars (for starters) to subsidize the swarm at the border.

Dummycrats are using the "Clinton vote-trading formula---let so may illegals in--get so many votes."

Joe Biden has been thoroughly briefed by the DNC: Speaking to a National Association of Manufacturers, Biden called for a "constant, unrelenting stream' of new immigrants — not dribbling (but) significant flows," The Hill reported....

TRANSLATION FROM DUMMYCRAP BAFFLE-GAB: "let 'em pour in to get the votes we need---and extort taxpayers to subsidize the vote-getting scheme."

==============================================

ALIPAC.COM---- Congress toll-free numbers:

Flood the Congress w/ Phone calls--"we will not subsidize Democrat vote-buying schemes. No tax dollars for illegals."

What is to stop the kids that are released to “relatives” from being sent into slavery or the sex trade?
